In a candid new interview, Robert Pattinson reveals the turning point in his life, and his new mantra: Don’t be a P*SSY!
We have known him as Edward Cullen, a respectable, 107 year- old vampire in love with Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart), since Twilight hit theaters four years ago. But, in his latest, and most daring performance yet, Robert Pattinson plays a multi-billionaire traveling across Manhattan, in a film about sex, death, money and power. Warning, Twi-hards: You’re in for a massive shock when you see Rob’s latest film, Cosmopolis.
After years of playing the same character, Rob is ready to take both his career and life to a new level. “Don’t be a p*ssy,” the 26-year-old heartthrob reveals in an interview with Shortlist Magazine. “Basically, that’s the best thing you can ever think. I’ve had so many occasions in my life where I’ve acted like a p*ssy and regretted it. With acting, I was always so scared. But you get to the point where you realize it doesn’t matter.”
He admits to being terrified while filming Cosmopolis, saying “There was a sex scene, and I was cringing.” The film, quite a leap from his Twilight days, is one Rob admits is totally bizarre and ridiculous.
“I think the script was so bizarre, we thought it was quite funny it was even getting made. Literally.”
While he surely must hope his fans follow him to this new artistic endeavor, Rob admits, “I’m curious who, if anyone, sees it. It’s such a weird movie.”
Well, even when he isn’t playing Edward Cullen, R-Patz still has our hearts.
Tell us, HollywoodLifers, will you see his new movie Cosmopolis when it his the big screen next month?
