Mark Zuckerberg Stiffs Waiter In Rome — New Report

Mark Zuckerberg Skips Tip

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg may be a billionaire, but his decency skills are far from perfect!

Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, who is rumored to be pregnant, reportedly stiffed a waiter in Rome while enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner on their honeymoon! What a cheapskate!

Mark, 28, and his new bride, 27, dined on fried zucchini blossoms, a plate of sea bass and tomato ravioli at Nonna Betta. While the tab came to 32 euros, $40, Mark managed to leave zero percent on the bill!

Surprisingly, the restaurant owner Umberto Pavoncello managed to defend the media tycoon. “They were really in love, eating from the same plate of ravioli,” he shared with the Italian media. Umberto loved having the famous couple so much that he’s interested in renaming a dish after Mark! “I am seriously considering renaming the fiori di zucca — deep-fried courgette flowers — on the menu as fiori di Zuckerberg.”

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Is the restaurant owner blinded by fame?

I think he can do whatever he likes and give the world his middle finger! It’s his decision to tip, not yours

In Italy wait staff earn a very nice wage, so tipping is not required. They may not have a built in tip system, but that is because tipping is not the norm.

Obviously tips are not mandatory in parts of Europe, the world isn’t an extension of America. There’s no “stiffing,” he paid the bill which is likely all that was required; why pay an arbitrary tip, in this instance, for no real reason. Don’t lie to make him look bad, it’s tacky and shows how base this site is!

Typically you do not leave a tip in Italy and many places in Europe. Just because he’s a Billionaire, doesn’t mean he should have to leave a tip!! It’s usually included in the cost of the food or added to the bill! This isn’t a headline, so you should take it off your site. Stop trying to be shocking because it’s not! We’re not pulling straw out of our mouths here, we’re pretty educated people, so get to know your readers!
