Jessica says she’s been breaking doctor’s orders and having sex soon after giving birth to Maxwell via C-section. Yes, a little TMI but a top obstetrician tells HollyBaby.com why the new mom may be putting her health at risk.

Jessica Simpson may be prone to over-sharing, but we were a little concerned when she revealed that she bucked her doctor’s orders to NOT have sex with fiancé Eric Johnson so soon after having a C-section.

She’s been putting off exercising until she fully recovers, but apparently she is too turned on by her fiancé Eric, 32, to not knock cowboy boots! Jess tells PEOPLE magazine, “I’ve kind of broken one rule. I think I have the sexiest man in the world. So that’s the rule I break.”

While Jessica, 31, didn’t share EVERY detail like how often or what kind of sex, simple math says baby Maxwell Johnson is only three-weeks old, so the couple must have fit in some nookie in that short time.

Dr. Tara Solomon, the director of the Women’s Wellness Center Of South Florida, tells HollyBaby.com exclusively that moms who have C-Sections should wait six weeks until they have intercourse again to allow the uterine lining and abdominal incision to heal, or else they could risk a possible infection or scar disruption.

“Infection is the issue — since her cervix is open, bacteria can get into the uterus,” advises Dr. Solomon, who does not treat Jessica.

She says that Jessica is not in major harm but should hold out until week four to allow her sutures to heal and for her cervix to fully close.

Yikes! HollyMoms, we can’t blame Jessica for being hot for her man, but are you a little concerned for her, too?
