Emily Maynard In Huge Family Feud With Late Fiancé's Parents

Though Emily Maynard may have signed on to The Bachelorette with the best of intentions, the reality show is driving a wedge between the single mom and the family of her late fiancé, Ricky Hendricks.

“When Emily first went on The Bachelor, they weren’t pleased, but they supported her,” a source tells Us Weekly. “Now that she went back, they’re not speaking.”

Emily learned that she was pregnant with her daughter Ricki, now 6, just days after her ex was killed in a plane crash. Though Emily has maintained a good relationship with the Hendricks family throughout the years, the source says that Ricky’s parents are “livid” that Emily has returned to reality TV — and this time with her young daughter in tow.

“This is really not the way they saw Emily’s future.”

Emily you need to support your daughter, if you have not found love in 2 men you will NOT find it. You will be the one to eat your own words and have 15 engagements. Come on man get back with Jef or Brad and MAKE it work, love is NOT a bed of roses. You will have challenges.If it was true love you would not be split up from previous relationships.

It’s hard to believe anything in an article when you can’t even spell the name right. The last name is Hendrick, NOT Hendricks. Yes, that makes a difference in your credibility to me!

Emily is a grown woman. She has the right to make up her on mind, on what she want to do with her life and her daughter. I think she is a smart person and can make her on decisions

Who do yo think paid for the house she lives in in Charlotte? It wouldn’t surprise that the Hendricks are a bit miffed at her.
She was born and raised outside Morgantown, WV. I think she even dated Dale Jr for a period of time….

I read somewhere that Emily comes from a very wealthy family herself. Maybe the hendricks family wants the money.

Tam, that is really ignorant. Rick and Linda Hendrick own Hendrick Motor Sports along with numerous dealerships in North and South Carolina. Emily went to high school but never attended college, how has she made so much money that the Hendrick family would look to her for money?

i wanna know how she has so much money? her fiance died, they werent married and it was unexpected so he obviously didnt leave her money… DO her exes parents MAINTAIN her over lavish lifestyle and her house?

actually, children conceived before death have inheritance rights in some states. so, in addition to ricky’s ownership rights in dad’s business and such (wikipedia ricky and you’ll see what he was doing before he died), she would’ve had the sole inheritance rights to any money that came from any settlements related to his death (i’m sure there was a lawsuit about that plane crash- there always is, and insurance pays). so, the dumb guy calling the child baggage should’ve realized she’s possibly a bag full of money… okay, i exaggerate- but if the kid was his sole heir she could’ve come into a lot of money when her father died before she was born. interesting… tho irrelevant.

The Hendricks absolutely adore Emily. She is a great mother to their granddaughter why wouldn’t they? She loves them as though they were her own parents and has said before that they support her in everything she does. FACT CHECK.
