After Teresa’s 10-year-old daughter Gia mouthed off to her in the May 21 broadcast, Jacqueline took to her Bravo blog and criticized Teresa’s relaxed parenting skills. She also calls the controversial reality star “rude, hurtful, and ungrateful”!
The incident happened after Jaqueline Laurita threw a Field Day competition at her house to bring the other stars and family members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey together.
Gia, Teresa’s Giudice‘s daughter, had a full-fledged breakdown when her team didn’t win. Jacqueline tried to calm her down by reading her a book about being a bad sport.
“We all love Gia. I think Gia is just misguided and maybe a bit hormonal as well. It’s typical for a 10-year-old to be emotional,” Jacqueline wrote on her blog May 23.
She continued: “Maybe Gia reacts the way she does because of the way Teresa handles her (or doesn’t). Teresa should pay closer attention to the way Gia is already speaking to her parents and other adults at the early age of 10, because I recognize some of that behavior and Teresa may have a long, hard road ahead of her.”
She added that Teresa “should be careful what she insinuates about other people’s parenting,” jabbing at how Teresa criticizes how she raises her own daughter, Ashlee.
“Does she mean that I should have used HER parenting techniques and never have disciplined Ashlee and just allow her run wild like she does with her children?” she wrote in her blog. “I’m confused. Her children, as adorable as they are, call her a [derogatory phrase], tell their siblings to bite their mother … yet she wants to call MY child rebellious and put that on me?”
“That was laughable. Buckle up, Teresa. Let’s check back with each other in a few years when your children are teenagers. We will compare stories then.”
Jacqueline also called Teresa “rude, hurtful and ungrateful” because Teresa said she didn’t want to be at the field day event.
Teresa has yet to respond on her Twitter.

The apple does not fall far from the tree Gia doesnt get it she is just like her mother!! It was all fun and games and she ruined it for everybody else and just like her mother made herself the victim. She is a very disrespectful liitle girl and I agree if they do not start discipling these kids well all I can say is I feel sorry for the kids. And for the record if you watch this episode again even Teresa tells Gia to stop being a bad sport its all for fun!!
