American Idol winners from the past have gone on to do amazing things!

And not only in music. Just look at Katharine McPhee who is now a famous TV star on the hit show Smash.

Well good news for season 11 winner Phillip Phillips — judge Steven Tyler thinks Phillip’s destiny will be no different.

“I said from the first, I thought he’d win, only because he’s so vulnerable. I think he’s going to be a movie star. I don’t know why, but I just think that, but I look at his face and I see James Dean,” he said.

Well he definitely has an adorable face! We’d love to see Phillip rock the silver screen.
