Revenge Season Finale

The season finale of ‘Revenge’ brought Emily face-to-face with her worst enemy of all — but that wasn’t the biggest surprise of the night!

Through trickery and a fake break-in, Emily (Emily VanCamp) secured the evidence linking everyone to the terrorist attack on the May 23 season finale of Revenge; all she needed was Nolan (Gabriel Mann) to break into the Grayson Global security protecting the software. But her trusted confidant was unreachable, and when Emily arrived at his house looking for him, she found a message urging her to call the white-haired man. Eventually, they agreed to meet face-to-face — as if Emily would handle avenging her father’s death any other way.

After chloroforming herself to maintain secrecy, Emily woke up handcuffed next to Nolan, and the white-haired man threatened to torture her friend if she didn’t tell him where she hid the evidence. Emily revealed a fake location, broke herself and Nolan free from the handcuffs, then waited patiently for her foe to return, while Nolan took the evidence to Victoria’s (Madeleine Stowe) SEC agent. Emily’s training really paid off, because she kicked serious butt in the final showdown with the white-haired man — but instead of murdering him, she chose to walk away!

While Conrad (Henry Czerny) proposed in order to keep Lydia (Amber Valletta) from testifying against him, Victoria learned her ex-husband had ordered David (James Tupper) killed, which made her want to do the most shocking thing a Grayson could do — tell the truth! And she had fully immunity, so who could really blame her?

Meanwhile, Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) attempted to get retribution against Declan (Connor Paolo) by exposing his school project partner as a “tramp” who was caught as a minor with her history teacher. Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) also finally broke the news about the kiss between Emily and Jack (Nick Weschler) to Daniel (Josh Bowman), and after confronting his fiancée, they decided to call it quits. Emily decided to tell Jack everything, but her plans were ruined when Amanda (Margarita Levieva) returned to the Hamptons with a little more than she left with: a baby!

As if this finale hadn’t reached its peak of jaw-droppingness, Victoria, Lydia and others who planned to testify against Conrad, boarded a plane that exploded, apparently leaving no survivors. It was literally a “blast from the past.” (Seriously, if a plane explodes, a Grayson’s name is attached to it.) To make things worse, Charlotte called Declan for comfort after hearing of her mother’s possible death, and when he ignored her, she turned to drugs — for the last time!

But just when Emily thought all the evidence that exonerated her father disappeared along with the people on the plane, Nolan saved the day once again! He backed up the hard drive from Grayson Global, and Emily learned her father’s death went way beyond the Graysons.

Oh, also… her mother is still alive!

It’s going to be a long summer waiting for season two, but at least we had this epic finale! What do you make of the big twist with Emily’s mom? Do you think Charlotte is really dead? And what about the passengers aboard the plane? Drop a comment with your thoughts and theories!

I love this show! Can anyone explain what really happened to Emily’s mother? Am I missing something? The last I saw was the shock white hair man opened her restraints, but what happened next, did they kill her? Did Em’s father really have her committed? Thanks

if you stick to the original title revenge, then perhaps it would be best if yiu dont bring Victoria back in season 2 but just flashbacks on how she & emily’s mom knew each other. Emily should have her toughest opponent in season 2 in the form of daniel & ashley & nolan should be kidnapped to test how far Emily would go to get the white hair man fox leading her into a group in America that are much evil than first thought. Jack should continue with his humanity but now Emily realises there is no future there because she has to have no emotions in order to win. I would have loved it though if somehow Victoria has a blood tie to Emily…Overall Emily should remain a cold hearted warrior on her revenge

Agree with most of you…
Madeleine Stowe will be back as Victoria. I think Daniel and Ashley will step up as the new evil couple when Conrad and Victoria get busy with the trial.
It was nice to see Emily with real emotion (besides hate/revenge) when she declared her love for Jack to Nolan; and then her heartbreak when she saw preggers Amanda back.
The wedding may be Amanda and Jack, because Jack seems like a “do the right thing” kinda misguided guy.
Who really cares about Declan and Charlotte. Charlottes not dead, because she has to still learn about Emily being her sister. I’d like Declan to get some brains and a lower voice. He squeaks.
Great finale to set up so many story lines for next year….

C’mon we all know that Victoria is alive, the great thing is how the producers are going to come up with a great story to tell how she is alive… I think Amanda”s mother got something to do with her being alive…Or maybe Victoria plotted a plan of instead of just bring Conrad down to the FBI, would get the ”bigger” people behind the terrorist act… This is such a great show, it makes us think of several possibilities…
