In a new interview, One Direction’s Niall Horan opens up about the intensity of some the group’s superfans, saying they can ‘get a bit…crazy.’ Is he being too judgmental?
In a recent interview with Digital Spy, One Direction’s Niall Horan spoke about a recent stop on their tour in Australia, saying, “You can see girls getting too excited and they start crying or worse. In a lot of these countries they don’t get a lot of gigs to go to, so when they get to see their favorite artist, they take full advantage of it.” Ouch.
The 18-year-old singer went on to say, “Obviously the excitement builds up too much for some on the night and they get a bit…crazy. Sometimes I’ve seen some stuff that’s a bit too much!”
But it isn’t all criticism that Niall has to share with his fans. He concluded, “Also, sometimes they’ll queue outside a venue for ages for us in the freezing cold. Queuing tips for fans: wrap up and bring food!”
See? A little helpful advice, too.
What do you think? Is Niall out of line for calling out his fans like this? Let us know!
