Usher Tearful In Court Over Bad Dad Accusations — VIDEO

At an emotional moment in Usher’s continuing child custody battle with his ex-wife, Tameka, the singer broke down after he was accused of prioritizing partying over taking care of his two sons, Usher V, and Naviyd Ely.

Usher’s continuing child custody case in Atlanta was marked by a tearful outpouring on May 21. He broke down after ex-wife Tameka Foster‘s lawyer insinuated that the singer cares more about going out in town over being a father.

Tameka’s attorney presented pictures of Usher partying in Europe in February, and insinuated that the 33-year-old father of two would rather go clubbing than take care of the estranged couple’s sons, Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 3.

A tearful Usher tried to explain the pictures but then the judge suggested he let his lawyer speak for him.

The trial will continue this week. Tameka is asking for full custody while Usher wants increased visitation of the boys.

What is wrong with these women who wish to deprive their children of their much needed fathers? Something’s seriously rotten in a society which will not ostracise such harmful, abusive behaviour from people who comport themselves as protectors of minors. Control your ego woman. Believe it or not, your children’s needs are not all about you.

My parents are divorced and I can say from personal experience, that Tameka isn’t doing the right thing by wanting her sons’ to stay away from their father.

They’ll resent her for doing this. Once they’re old enough, that is.

No child wants to be separated from their father, no matter what.

Please for all of y’all blaming the ex you have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s obvious that your just supporting him because he’s Usher. This guy cheats on his wife and goes out partying all the time. He doesn’t deserve sole custody! He’ll probably just hire someone to watch them anyways. The court almost always sides with the mom because a judge knows kids need their mother. I’m hoping in this case they will do the same.

If he wanted them that bad he would’ve spent a little less time out and a little more time with his kid. Other celebs change their ways after they become parents, he should be able to do so as well.

@ Beryl… What you have said is so true. God does have a way of sending the same people back in your life whom you may have mistreated and puts you in a situation where you need them. It pays to do right by people. If he did not love all his kids then why would he be in court fighting for them? People rarely fight for someone they don’t love. There are so many kids out there whose fathers could not give a crap about, and the only time they set foot in a courtroom, about their kids, is when they have to pay child support. If his ex-wife truly love all their kids then she would encourage him to spend as much time as he likes with his children. And we live in a time when the father should be able to have joint custody. Unfortunately the entire family is suffering through a horrible tragedy, maybe this will put to an end the bickering and fighting and as horrible as this accident is, it may be the unifying force they need. As they both now know, life is too short.

Why do women try to use the children as a pawn in divorce. Clearly if the Dad is present and active in a child’s life and thing financial care of his children and spending quality time. Why do women want to take there parental rights or visitation away..as in Usher’s case he’s a musician…Tameka was his stylist and then his wife and then his babies momma….how shameful for her to do this….to the Children….that is their Dad? Wonder if Usher talked with Tameka’s other kids Dad for insight. Guess not.

SMH… Poor Usher. His mom AND the fans were against him being wtih her in the first place! One: she was married when she got wtih Usher – clearly a h*e! Now who doesn’t know you can’t turn a h*e into a housewife?! She had to sign a prenup – was mad, so her next move to get his cheese was to get knocked up & use the kids to live off of. The only one who didn’t see that coming was Usher – d*mn shame some folks gotta learn the hard way. She a rat! A straight hoodrat out for the cheddar.

Michael Jordan’s mom told him not to marry Juanita either – look what happened… She masacred him in the divorce. Every now & then fellas – momma really DOES know best!

It’s sad that Usher had 2 learn this way. There are women and men in this world that will say and do whatever they deem necessary to get what they want out of you. And in Usher’s world it’s even harder because of your celebrity. This chick probably played the down role for YEARS in hopes of trapping our boy. (she was married when they met I.E Shaunie O’neal) I wish brothers in the spotlight would stop going for these broads. I myself have imagined that if in his position I would only date professional women ( doctors, lawyers etc.) . Stay strong Ush. The whole A is behind you.

I think it’s such ashame that Ms.Tameka is taking this man thru all of what she’s doing. First of all before she had the kids she knew that Usher career requires for him to attend many parties but it was all ok when she was trying to be his wife. The questions needs to be ask of her ” why did she have her other kids living with her when she married Usher”? She didn’t have full custody of them. Don’t blame it on your 1st husband wouldn’t let them! I really think that she is doing this out of anger. It’s a shame that this had to come to this and 2 kids have to be put in the middle. I really think that this is all about money and she wouldn’t care who they stayed with if they were still together or if he still wanted her… I will say!

When your momma tells you not to marry a certain woman and you marry her anyway—-well, this is what you get. Woman know woman and his momma told him this one was trouble—he chose not to listen– now, this is what he has to look forward to until the children turn 18. I don’t think he is a bad father but he sure chose the wrong mother for his children.
BTW didn’t this woman already have 3 or 4 other children prior to marrying Usher? Why isn’t she taking their father (s) to court???? Can we say Mr. Green $$$$$.

I mean damn, stop being so hard on Usher because he didn’t listen to his mama. How many of us DON’T listen to our parents when we are young. He made a mistake, but I’m sure he doesn’t feel like the kids he had with this woman are a mistake. You live and you learn. Keep your head up Usher.
