Do you think Jessica Sanchez is a better singer than Phillip Phillips? He admitted she is!
It’s unbelievable to us that the most non-competitive person of all time, Phillip Phillips, made it to the season 11 finale of American Idol. During a press conference with the final two, the 21-year-old Georgia native basically conceded that his competition, Jessica Sanchez, should win!
“I definitely can’t out-sing [Jessica],” he said, admitting that “her voice” is probably her best quality.
For what it was worth, Jessica, 16, also sang Phillip’s praises, saying she appreciates “everything about him.”
“We’re two totally different people,” she said. “He’s so much more out there.”

Thankfully phillip phillips himself is not deluded as to think he’s a better singer than jessica, unlike many people. His talent pales in comparison with jessica’s though he is very talented himself. But jessica should have won. I know a lot of people commend him for the hardwork he’s done
Especially since he was sick throughout the season, but others may have forgotten that jessica worked really hard too. Imagine being a 16 year old in that stressful environment. Also, in most of the season, she had a disadvantage since she’s the only one who had to juggle the show and school. Plus, let’s not forget the anxiety she must have gone through when she was voted off and saved.
