'Vampire Diaries' Season 4: Steven R. McQueen Predicts Darker Jeremy

Steven talks to HollywoodLife.com about what’s to come next season on ‘The Vampire Diaries!’ (Note: The video is also enjoyable on mute.)

I hope you like your Jeremy Gilberts tortured and angsty, because Steven R. McQueen predicts that Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) little brother will hate himself when The Vampire Diaries returns for its fourth season. “His main objective has been to keep the people he loves safe, and he’s failed to do that multiple times,” Steven told HollywoodLife.com at The CW’s Upfront presentation May 17 in NYC. “He’s been through the ringer. I’m excited to see what happens.”

I also asked Steven for his thoughts on Jeremy’s relationship with Bonnie (Kat Graham), and while he seemed open to the idea of Jeremy settling down with a nice human girl for a change, he also acknowledged the couple has “unresolved issues.”

What do you think of Jeremy and Bonnie reconnecting next season? Should they give their relationship a second chance, or should they both officially  move on? And how do YOU think Jeremy will react to Elena being a vampire? Watch the interview and drop a comment with your thoughts and theories!
