Since Kody Brown took on a fourth wife, Robyn, his relationship with wife number three, Christine, took a turn for the worst. Do you think he made it up to her with his gifts?
Kody Brown hasn’t been the best husband to his third wife, Christine. In addition to essentially shoving her aside for his fourth wife, Robyn, he skipped both her birthday and her anniversary in the last year — and she wasn’t having it on the May 20 episode.
“I have to block it out and make pretend everything is okay,” Christine told the first wife, Meri, during a confession session.
Despite the fact Kody has been neglecting Christine, Meri’s advice was for Christine to change her attitude, since she’s in this polygamist marriage for life.
“You have to do it without putting it all on him,” Meri advised. “You’re the only person you can change. You can’t change anyone else.”
To make up for his lack of attention, Kody took Christine on a super fun date — paintballing and even a helicopter right. While he felt bad for shooting her, Christine joked around about the sport and said “I just want to shoot him” — and we didn’t blame her!
At the end of the episode, Kody even threw Christine a birthday party, complete with the children, the wives, a cake and a very fancy gift…a trip to Mexico.
“It’s not for amateurs,” Robyn said of polygamy during the interview afterward.
Even though Christine seems to be happy for now, we can’t help but wonder how long it will last. Kody never acknowledged how he was neglecting Christine and tried to gloss over everything with gifts.

all i can say is that him having 4 women he claims that are his wives is just his excuse to get a different piece and apparently he can’t even do that right. also if he can have 4 wives why can’t they have more husbands but of course he wouldn’t like to have the shoe on the other foot which in my eyes is a hypocrite.
