A too close call occurred after an Arizona mom and young daughter just nearly avoided being hit by a semi truck.
Harleagh McNaught was pushing daughter Raelyn, 2, in a stroller through town. When they got to the crosswalk, a semi truck hauling rock did not stop for them as it made a left turn, hit the stroller, and dragged Raelyn with it! Raelyn is alive and well, but what must the mother have been thinking when her daughter slipped out of her hands??
“I was so scared that she was going to roll right underneath the tires of that truck and I was never going to see my daughter again,” said Harleagh in the ABC15 report.
The stroller was clipped and thrown onto the street — luckily, Raelyn was still alive inside the stroller. She received a gash in her forehead and burns on her elbows.
Harleah believes that the plastic and metal around the stroller saved her daughter’s life.
