Taylor Armstrong: Be Happy With Yourself And You Will Be Happy In Love

Fri, May 18, 2012 6:00pm EDT by 5 Comments

The ‘RHOBH’ star has had her share of turmoil when it comes to love, but she’s also found the best ingredient to succeed in it: self-happiness.

From surviving domestic abuse to raising her daughter Kennedy all on her own — Taylor Armstrong is one strong woman.

But she hasn’t always felt as self-assured as she appears to be. Taylor revealed that finding self-happiness will help you get through any situation in love when times are tough.

“Figuring out how to be happy on my own is something that I’ve never done until now. And finding that has been a pretty powerful lesson for me,” Taylor says. “I was going through journals and past relationships and I realized how much power I gave away and how I didn’t have a good sense of self-value.”

This is definitely something that all young women can relate to when it comes to relationships.

“After the typical heartbreak and bad break-up you move on with less to give. We have that first big relationship and then the next person you’re with they get about 95 percent of you,” she says.

But Taylor can assure us that it does get better — no matter if you’ve suffered physical or emotional abuse, as long as you do the work, and really self-reflect, Taylor says you can love again.

We love how she’s so positive and full of great advice! For more advice make sure to pick up her book Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within at your local book store.

She’s full of crap. Considering she never really went through what she said she went through, I would imagine she got the answers from the abused women at her charity. Maybe she reads a lot. Whatever, I don’t believe a word that comes out of that lying mouth.

For someone who never has been happy in love or out, I don’t see how she could be looked at as one to dole out any advice on the subject. From recent reports of her outlandish, drunken behavior (again) on the upcoming season of the show I’d say she’s a total mess and needs to find another way to earn a living.

You have less to give after a big breakup? Huh? You learn from it, and grow, and have MORE to give. God, Taylor is clueless. I hope young girls aren’t listening to her crazy psycho babble. Must be the result of too much booze.
