'Supernatural' Season Finale: Jared Padalecki Promises Multiple Deaths

Watch our interview with the ‘Supernatural’ star for the scoop on what — and who — is going down tonight.

We figured the Grim Reaper might make an appearance on the May 18 season finale of Supernatural – not literally, of course — but it turns out we have more to be worried about than we once thought! HollywoodLife.com caught up with Jared Padalecki at The CW’s Upfront presentation May 18, and he confirmed viewers will need to use several fingers if they want to count the number of casualties on tonight’s episode.

“We say bye to more than one [character],” he told us. “Once again, it’s Supernatural, so who knows [if they'll stay dead]?”

Jared also teased that one of the brothers — either Sam or Dean (Jensen Ackles) — will end up in a “crappy, sticky situation, and that will lead us into season eight.”

And yes, Jared said this “sticky” situation is worse than being sent to hell — which did happen to his character.

Watch my full interview with Jared below for more scoop on season eight, and his thoughts on Supernatural moving to Wednesdays in the fall:

“And yes, Jared said this “sticky” situation is worse than being sent to hell — which did happen to his character at the end of season three”

It was Jensen’s character, Dean, that was sent to hell at the end of season three. Jared’s character, Sam, gets locked up in hell with Lucifer at the end of season 5.

*Fangirl-squee* I’m VERY Excited for tonight’s episode of Supernatural!
