One Direction's Zayn Malik's Girlfriend Quits Twitter After Death Threats

One Direction fans don’t like sharing their favorite boys — and they’ve gone so far as to threaten their girlfriends’ lives!

One Direction‘s Zayn Malik can’t even go on a date without his fans getting super jealous. Fans of the boy band expressed their rage for Zayn’s girlfriend Perrie Edwards, member of the band Little Mix, on Twitter — forcing her to quit the social networking site.

Zayn, 19, and Perrie, 18, ended their relationship in December 2011 after the couple met on the UK’s X-Factor in November. The couple were recently seen rekindling their relationship on May 15 as cameras caught Zayn sneaking out of her apartment early that morning.

The couple also caught The Avengers on April 26, tweeting about their date later that night.

“Just went to see avengers assemble and it was #boring . Good night though! x @zaynmalik,” Perri tweeted.

“@PerrieLittleMix yeah tonight was fun lets do it again sometime ;) x x,” Zayn tweeted April 26.

One Direction fans didn’t take too kindly to seeing Zayn with another girl, and let Perrie know their discontent. Fans apparently sent horrible messages to her Twitter, causing her to delete her account, The Mirror reports.

And this isn’t the first time girls linked to a One Direction member has been harrassed on Twitter. A few girls linked to Harry Styles, 18, have also fallen victim to Twitter hate from those “dedicated” One Direction fans.

But One Direction fans are singing a different tune, claiming they expressed no hate toward Perri and she left Twitter on her own.

“Perrie didn’t leave Twitter because of hate. Her and the rest of Little Mix deleted so no member had more followers than the other,” One Direction fan @1DBromances tweeted.

Seriously no disrespect but she looks like something out of my nightmares. I like Louis and liam’s gf’s but I really don’t like Perrie. Not because she’s dating Zayn, but because she looks 42 and seems quite fake. But that’s my opinion, if u guys just want to make Zayn happy by posting comments about her so be it but I just think that Zayn could of chosen a girl with more of a natural pretty look, not that.

If Perrie and zany are happy then that is good leave them alone what if someone harrasing you you would not like it either so just let them be happy let them have a happy ending and if zayn or Perrie see this message then I say zayn don’t listen to anyone just stick up for yourself fans are getting in your personal life it’s not fair to u or Perrie and by the way see u next year at the Hershey concert!!!<3

They broke up before and now they are dating again? She said she had no time for a boyfriend. I only respect Liam and Louis’ girlfriends because they are true to Liam and Louis. Plus Perrie is ugly.. I am a huge One Direction but I don’t like them for their looks, I like them for their talent and singing abilities. Yes they are gorgeous but you should not get so upset when one member decides to date someone. You will probably never date him so just be happy for him.

I may love zayn with all my heart but i think that he deseves to go on a date without ppl freakin getting so jealous that they harrased Perri Edwards. But what I dont get whn “The Project” had an interview with 1D Liam said that the like his girlfriend, that they where at the hotel when she was in a country. So why would they do this to Perri Edwards, I am confused. Still Zayn has the right to date its not up to any of us.

Wow, these fans are just really crazy! Leave Zayn and Perrie alone. If they are happy together then let them be happy! If Zayn’s happy I’m happy! Perrie’s beautiful and she seems so nice and sweet! I feel bad when the girlfriends of One Direction has to delete their Twitter accounts. It makes no sence. This information is FALSE. Perrie did not delete her twitter due to hate from One Direction fans! If anybody in the media industry bothered to do any research they would know that ALL members of Little Mix deleted their personal twitter accounts so they could focus on the Little Mix accounts.
They now all tweet from the official Little Mix twitter and interact with fans together there.
