Robert Kennedy's Superstar Girlfriend 'Devastated' Over Mary Kennedy Suicide

An insider tells HollywoodLife.com actress Cheryl Hines feels terribly for the Kennedy family after they loss Mary yesterday

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has long moved on romantically from his estranged wife, Mary Kennedy, and his new girlfriend, Cheryl Hines, is trying her hardest to comfort the family after Mary’s suicide.

“Cheryl is devastated,” a source close to the actress tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She met Robert long after he filed for divorce from Mary. She was not friends with Mary, they didn’t know each other.”

Adds the source, “She met Robert in Deer Valley at one of his charity events and she has always admired his chartible causes for the environment. She has nothing but empathy for the family right now.”

Robert filed for divorce from Mary in May 2010 and only three days later she got a DUI. Since that time, she’s been on a downward spiral, her friends said.

Our hearts go out to the Kennedys, particularly Mary’s four children.

I’m sure Cheryl is devastated. It exposes RFK and her as the cheating dogs they are. He was not divorced. He was not available for a new relationship. However they want to try and spin it, they knew each other long before he was even separated from his wife. She was married too. Great role models for all of his/her children!

This is a tragedy all the way around. I would not get any where near a Kennedy man. They are self centered perverted dogs, and have no true feelings for their wives. Mary’s friend on another website just revealed when she was having dinner with Robert Jr and Mary a year ago, he slipped his hand under the table and fondled her thigh!!! Need I say more!! Case closed!

It’s the spin cycle at work in Hollywood. All you have to do is read the many articles about these dysfunctional relationships RFK Jr./his wife,Mary/Cheryl Hines, and match up the time sequence of the photos and events, and BINGO, just like a slot machine, the truth come rolling in. Yes, Mary and Cheryl were in the same group photo in Deer Valley. RFK, Jr. and Cheryl did each set up divorce proceedings from their current spouses within two months of each other. It’s all very transparent when you piece this together. It’s known as the “gruesome twosome” – when a narcissist teams up with a personality disordered. The outcome is inevitable – all surface and no depth. Mary’s children will soon see this about their Dad, no matter how hard he tries to convince them their mother was flawed. And then taking those children to HIS mother in Palm Beach today? He’s looking for help trying to explain his gross actions to his children.

This so called superstar doesn’t have very good PR spinners does she? Why even comment and lie about this woman’s death? This so-called superstar is with a man who was letting the mother of his four children slip into financial and psychological despair and did nothing about it. Good luck with him. An intelligent woman might have her PR people announce that she was no longer seeing this man.

Cheryl Hines is a disgusting liar. She knew Mary Kennedy for years, and she and the repellant RFK, Jr. filed for divorce within weeks of each other in 2010. A Google image search shows that Hines knew the Kennedys – both of them – for years.

Cheryl Hines is a vile, dishonest, pathetic sack of garbage for engaging in this kind of needless damage control in the wake of a woman ending her life. It’s actually shocking, that her first instinct is to float stories about how very, very, truly, no kidding sorry she is that her boyfriend’s actual WIFE is dead.

This chipmunk-faced resident from Whovile is no ‘superstar.’ People don’t know her and those that do don’t like her. Please search “Cheryl Hines + Megan Mullally” and you’ll see another story that Hines and her publicists put out as a preemptive strike against another beautiful brunette who Hines thought of as competition.

The information in the article is grossly inaccurate. Cheryl HInes most certainly did know Mary Kennedy. Anyone can use Google and find the photo of them together with RFK Jr. and a few other people. There is no question that they were at least acquainted with each other!

Cheryl Hines feels devastated? Good luck with that. Try having a relationship with this selfish man who took away his kids from their mother and never supervises them. They will hate him. I hope it doesn’t turn out like Prince Charles and Camilla. After they put the screws to Diana, they got to see William get married while Diana was in her grave. These men are disgusting. KatMel, you are cruel and inhumane. He treated her life crap, and he didn’t pay her bills. He took away her children and left her with nothing. He will burn in hell for what he did full knowing how depressed she was. He drove her to drink, and you can imagine how abused and tortured she was that she would leave her children behind without a mother. Are you all so shallow that you think relationships are built on looks? If so, then Halle Berry and Eva Longoria would have had the most faithful husbands because they are gorgeous. It has nothing to do with that – your best chemistry doesn’t happen only with the best looking person you ever dated! Cheryl Hines is hysterically funny and smart, probably a lot more fun to wake up next to than most people.

No one MADE this woman kill herself. Lots of women and men suffer humiliation, betrayal and heartache at the hands of their spouses – but they soldier through. This woman apparently suffered from depression and drug/alcohol problems. It all overwhelmed her and she did something I think is so selfish in that she left her children with this horrible void/legacy.

RFK might be a total disgusting human being – so what. She wanted him knowing he had cheated on his first wife – her eyes were wide open. LIfe can be hard and punishing. She owed it to her kids to keep on fighting.

Its true no one made her take her own life, but what about having your life hijacked by some blonder, younger starlet who literally takes over what you spent years building? In case its not totally obvious at this point, they were seeing each other well before the publicity spin on the dates they got together. At the very best – and it is VERY generous – Hines was seeing him in public at events he attended with his wife well before the supposed date ‘they met and started dating.’ They tortured her.
