Find out why Cristine Prosperi says Imogen is ‘finally happy’ after the season finale. Do you support ‘Fimogen’?
The May 18 season finale of Degrassi may center around the “Frostival,” but the episode promises to be hot — especially for will-they-won’t-they twosome Fiona (Annie Clark) and Imogen (Cristine Prosperi). Annie tells HollywoodLife.com there’s a “big moment” between the girls that Fiona is “very happy about.” So does that mean we’ll get the kiss we’ve all been waiting for?
Neither Annie nor Cristine would kiss and tell, unfortunately, but Annie does say that fans should remain hopeful about the future of “Fimogen.”
“They work really well together,” Annie tells me. “They’re both kind of kooky in their own ways, and with that connection to Eli [Munro Chambers], it just worked seamlessly.” (Annie does, however, appreciate the awkwardness of Eli helping her land Imogen. “We’re totally sharing a girl,” she says.”)
Cristine also seems pleased with the way things go between Fiona and Imogen on the finale — so much so that she says next year will be remarkably better for the former wallflower.
“It kind of starts a whole new year for [Imogen], a whole new life,” Cristine tells me. “She’s finally happy.”
But Imogen’s not the only girl in Fiona’s life on the finale. Let’s not forget about the surprise visit she got from Holly J. (Charlotte Arnold) at the end of last week’s episode!
“I felt complete when Charlotte came back,” Annie says. “She’s one of my closest friends and I love working with her. ‘Folly J.’ is the best — even though it never really went anywhere. … [This week,] she comes back to act as her rock while Fiona’s courting Imogen.”
How do YOU feel about ‘Fimogen,’ Degrassi fans? Do you think Fiona has finally found the perfect girl, or is Imogen just toying with the idea of being a lesbian? And how have you felt about the progression of their relationship this season? Drop a comment with your thoughts and theories!
