Mitchell Guist Dead

The reality star suffered a fatal seizure yesterday. So sad.

Mitchell Guist, one of the bearded alligator-hunting brothers from the reality show Swamp People died on May 14 at the age of 48.

Mitchell was out on his boat along the Belle River in St. Martin Parish, La., when he fell and suffered a seizure, according to TMZ. Another passenger returned the vessel to the dock and called 911. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported Mitchell to a nearby hospital, but it was too late.

Sources close to the reality star say that Mitchell had recently fallen ill, but the nature of his sickness remains unclear.

“We are extremely saddened to report that our friend and beloved member of the Swamp People family, Mitchell Guist, has passed away earlier today. Mitchell passed on the swamp, doing what he loved,” said a rep from The History Channel.

I definitely wanted to write down a brief message to be able to thank you for those lovely guides you are giving out at this site. My prolonged internet look up has at the end of the day been honored with incredibly good facts to talk about with my companions. I ‘d repeat that many of us site visitors are extremely lucky to live in a wonderful network with so many wonderful people with good plans. I feel rather grateful to have encountered your entire web site and look forward to many more excellent minutes reading here. Thanks again for a lot of things.

We are so saddened by Mitchell’s death. He and Glenn were my favorite on Swamp People. I loved their sense of humor. Also the love they showed for everyone and everything.
We pray for you Glenn, and that you will continue the show.
Mitchell will be missed. I loved his laugh…pure, and natural.

I loved watching, the Guist brothers on Swamp People. Mitchell was my favorite with his zany come back comments whenever Glen would make a joke about something or put his spin on how to solve a situation. I love their laugh, love when they would go hunting and the episode of them repairing their porch. Mitchell kept telling Glen “HIT THE NAIL” when he each time he would miss with the hammer. That was hilarious! The seemed to be really close and he will be missed. My prayers go out to Glen and their family. Rest In Paradise Mitchell

Iam very sorry, he will be missed. He was very funny.
When he was hungry he would go shopping in the trees and in the swamp.
Rest in peace in swamp heaven.
