Florida Mom Kills Kids -- Shoots 4 Children, Turns Gun On Herself

In devastating news, five bodies were found after a Florida mom shot her four children and then turned the gun on herself, on the morning of May 15.

Authorities said three of the four children ran to their next-door neighbor’s house before their mother Tanya Thomas called them back home and killed them.

The children’s ages ranged from 12-17. Brevard County Sheriff Lt. Tod Goodyear said their neighbor called 911 after hearing gunshots. Shortly after, three children knocked on the neighbor’s door and said they had been shot.

Tanya, 33, ordered them back to the house and proceeded to shoot and kill them, said Goodyear. Once the neighbor heard more gunshots, 911 was called again.

When police arrived, they saw Pebbles Johnson, 17, outside, suffering from her wounds. They heard four shots from inside the house. Pebbles was taken to an ambulance in a police car but died enroute to the hospital.

Tanya then emerged from her house with the gun and retreated when she saw the deputies approach.

After a final gunshot was heard, a SWAT team entered the home and found Tanya had killed herself with her gun and her three other children, Joel Johnson, 12, Jazlin Johnson, 13, and Jaxs Johnson, 15, murdered.

The motive is currently not known.

Its sad when one realizes the verbs involved and not just the sentence. Its even more sadder that it appears it mustve been a n**ger must’ve made the first comment. Does it then leave one to second guess… yes! Think about it this way… if the kids wouldve grown up exhibiting racist attitudes callling others whitey/honkey… then perhaps its a good thing that this deranged mother did society a very nice favor by preventing further rhetoric from africans who have yet to evolve. I did a study on both prison incarceration rates and crimes by race. Though it happens it is very rare that black mothers kill their children. As far as the prison rates go what happens is blacks do not committ more crimes, however, they are sentenced to prison more often than (home confinement, probation, residential facilities) while other races are given the aforementioned blacks are sentenced to prison. So it is correct most times blacks make up a small percentage as far as populated areas, yet, they are the majority when it comes to incarceration. Check out the “Sentencing Project.” It is a sad day when anyone committs a crime of this magnitude. May God Bless their family.

Felicite – I don’t know where you live, but where I live blacks are 2% of the population, but make up 40% of the jail/prison population. They are much more likely to be trouble-makers percentage wise.

People kills me how they kill their kids and kill themselfs. Hello if you want to kill yourself than do it but don’t take your kids life’s with you. What happenss you kill you and your kids your kids go to heaven and you go to hell. People need to think before harm there children. Praying for this 4 kids that went to heaven to soon.
