Kris Jenner Throws Kourtney Kardashian A Second Baby Shower

The reality star’s loved ones threw her a pink-themed shower for baby No. 2! Read on for all the details!

Lucky Kourtney Kardashian doesn’t get one, but TWO baby showers! After boyfriend Scott Disick threw her an East Coast bash, mama Kris Jenner‘s opened her Hidden Hills, Calif. home to celebrate the exciting arrival of the new baby girl.

About 90 people came to the May 12 fete that was decked out with pink and white peonies, Dutch hydrangeas, and fresh sweet peas, according to a Life & Style Weekly report. Guests dined on sushi and little sandwiches.

“Kourtney’s shower was so nice!” an eyewitness told the magazine. “Her mom and sisters were there, of course. They talked, laughed, and played games…She seemed happy and excited earlier in the day before the shower. Her son, Mason, was there, too.”

Scott, however, was absent from the second shower as he had hosting duties at an Atlantic City club.

Kourtney, 33, received “numerous” presents for the new baby including a $349 video monitor set, car seat, embroidered bibs, and teething toys.

“At one point, a Toyota van drove up to the property and numerous people rushed over to the car to help a blond female carry a huge gift, in black-and-white wrapping paper and a big red bow, into the house,” said a second eyewitness in the report.

What’s wrong with 2 showers? She had a boy first and a girl second. They are different sexes. I wouldn’t want to use all my sons blue stuff for my daughter not would I want to use my pink and purple stuff for my son had it been the other way around. People are so judgemental.

Why are you people suck Kardashian Haters? What have they ever done to you. It sounds like jelious to me. I happen to enjoy watching their show like many others. So if you dont like them then quit reading their updates or is your lives so boaring that thats all you have to do is write nasty , disrespectful comments about this family. I dont get kourtney, You don’t seems to be happy with scott, you even turn down his proposals, but yet you keep getting pregnant for him. I feel like you are using him to make babies.. I would not get pregnant twice for a man who i think is not responsible . you always treat him as irresponsible but yet u kept carrying his child.Its my opinion. Pls people correct me if am wrong

So many etiquette mistakes here. Fist of all, immediate family is not supposed to throw a shower. Second, most people don’t throw a baby shower for the 2nd baby, let alone 2.

uh, “first of all”- why not? and “second”- why not? and yes to 2 showers…even 3.
Where do you get YOUR etiquette lessons from?

According to etiquette, it is never truly improper to have a baby shower, because the party is supposed to be about a lot more than gifts. It is to celebrate the new addition to the world. And you can have themed showers to incorporate that (i.e., an “It’s a Boy!” shower or a “Pamper Mom” shower where the gifts are for the mom). if you don’t feel comfortable getting gifts, people can donate to a charity. It is more about the idea of gathering for a baby shower to celebrate the baby. Every new mom should have a party; it makes you feel good to have your friends around you. And of course who else is going to willingly and happily care so much to give you a party but your immediate family…and that’s the way it should be.

I would like to see the Kardashian family donate a million or two to the March of Dimes or some other charity that benefits children. I am sick and tired of reading about these elaborate parties they keep throwing for themselves. They are wasting millions of dollars, receiving gifts they don’t need, and turning themselves into greedy camera whores.

How do you know they don’t give to charity? Just because they don’t always include it on tv doesn’t mean they don’t do it. Stop hating and judging because if you were given the opportunity to live a fabulous life you would do the same and you know it.

My mom was thrown four. One by my dads side, one by my moms side. The third by her childhood church, and the fourth by their new church and that was 1973. NOPE I was not spoiled. What is wrong with it no matter how rich they are. and for JoJo, who made you the baby shower police. It is 2012, gone are the days where every woman had to abide by the rules of some author who decided what was proper and what was not. In that same book, white was not allowed after labor day. Loosen up people, This kind of attitude leads to heart attacks and strokes. IF you do not like what the post is about Put a sock in your mouth and move on. If I had not been on bed rest, I would have had three for my son. Hello these are the very first grand kids.

I guess the Kardashian can chge tradition..was always ONE baby shower..yes they r greedy..i wonder if kourt was going to have a BOY would make a difference…but its not like they cant afford to buy girl clothes….they want the attention…

I read entertainment news and not a fan of the kaRtrashian.

I post my opinon esp when I see an article that is not true/disgusting because I DO NOT THINK THAT THERE IS A RULE THAT SAYS ONLy PEOPLE WHO LIKE THe TRASH FAMILY CAN POST!

And on this topic, I would say that Kris J is hosting a second baby shpowers because she is a greedy woman.

Now for some people who said that they have 3 baby showers hosted by their moms/grandmoms is kinda doubtful.

Just like @teen mom who said she has 3 baby showers and a welcome party.

So if they have 2 or more baby showers I had 3 baby showers for my daughter and a welcome party. My mom had one for me and my boyfriends mom and my friends had one. And if you was in my shoes my aunts don’t want to be botherd with me and to throw a baby shower, anyone can throw a baby shower.

Obviously, that is the intention! This family is so greedy and would take every chance to get something.

That is the reason why they put up that fake wedding. They can use it as a way to gain profit.

I read somewhere that an expensive car worth $325,000.00 is with Kim Hoe.

Instead of them returning those gifts, kim Hoe donated some and you know you can use donations for tax credit.

While the real expensive ones are with Kim Hoe.

She and the rest of the Trash family are trying to ruin Kris H reputation but they do not even want to return the engagement and wedding rings to him.

They are so pathetic!

How dare you judge someone you know nothing about. and Dorthy Kennedy did you not ever participate in a shower? I am an only child and my family had a shower for me. Look Every religion, culture, and part of the US and of the world have different traditons, so how dare you tell them they cannot throw a shower. I dare anyone to say My family could not do that. It’s not really suprising that this family has the bad manners to throw a shower for a family member. Somebody needs to read an book on basuc good manners. SINCE PEOPLE BRING GIFTS TO A WEDDING OR BABY SHOWER THE FAMILY SHOULD NOT BE THROWING THE SHOWER. IT LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE ASKING FOR GIFTS. It is customary for a friend or possibly a remote relative, like a cousin, to host the shower. (This of course, is one of the mildest offenses they have committed against good manners

I partially agree with dogood…CLOSE family such as a husband, definatley should not throw a shower and I don’t think it is appropriate for a grandmother to, either. It should be sisters, aunts, friends, etc.

maybe i’m getting old, but i thought women had one shower unless it was a really long time in beween babies or the woman was really in need. neither of which apply in this case. that whole family is like gimme, gimme, gimme. pure greed.

What etiquette book are you reading??? Why is it inappropriate for a family members to throw a baby shower??? Obviously, you don’t have a family that takes that much interest in you or your journey in life. Family and friends are supposed to come together for this type of celebration, no matter who throws the party.

Agreed. I never had an official “shower” before the arrival of my daughter. Family just asked what I needed and everyone kinda worked it out amongst themselves and I got everything that I needed that way. I believe that everyone needs to just forget about these damn people and get a life though. I have been skimming through just to see how ignorant people are, and the Kardashians are just as lame. just like all the other “reality” tv shows, they are a wast of time space and the air I breath.

I’ve been to a lot of baby showers and these are not hosted by any family member.

We as ffriends/co employees planned everything.

I think the one thing I’ve really like about Kourtney is how she doesn’t feel the need to spend her entire pregnancy in 6in heels. I actually like that she’s wearing flat shoes.
