While women all over America have spiced up their sex lives while reading ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ E.L. James admitted to a room of 500 fans that it hasn’t had the same positive effect on her own sex life.
E.L. James is being credited with enhancing the sex lives of men and women everywhere. But when HollywoodLife.com attended an event on May 7 in which the the British author spoke about the book, she revealed she doesn’t have sex toys and S&M in her bedroom!
“I wrote it a chapter at a time,” she told us at The Willow Ridge Country Club, in Westchester, NY. “I did it completely and utterly on the fly. I got my husband to check my grammar and he still didn’t get the hint.”
That is just too funny, especially since Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele have some pretty steamy scenes together. E.L. James adds that her two teenage sons would be so embarrassed if they read the books.
“Can you imagine how humiliated mine feel,” she says. “My sons will probably never read them. Neither of my boys read much. They are more interested in Playstation.”
One day E.L. James asked her sons for a ruler and one son replied: “Do you want to do something rude with it?” Although they haven’t read the books, it appears they definitely have heard the fuss about it!
Pick up this book now if you haven’t already — it’s a must read!

These books are amazing! It is not just the sex (although that is good too LOL). There is something deeper going on here and I couldn’t put the books down and read non stop until I was finished. I had bad “withdrawal” afterwards and no other book would do. I read A LOT and on average a book or two a week and have never had the desire to re-read the same book twice but, I will read these over and over and over!!!
P.S. CANNOT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE
P.S. S. Would love more from MR. GREY (ie the story from his point of view)
