After Jamie Lynne Grumet bared a breast to nurse her 3-year-old son Aram on the cover of Time magazine, we all can’t stop talking about it — celebs included! Find out what Hollywood had to say about the shocking image!

• “Time Magazine’s cover is pretty ballsy or tittsy. The kid looks nourished. Wonder if they call that the yum yum chair,” wrote funny-man Dane Cook in a tweet.

I agree with @Mel. It’s everyone’s business when it is on the cover on a magazine. I could care less about what people do in the privacy of their own homes. Do I want to remember sucking on my moms tit? No. But for this child, it’s inevitable at this point. Do I want my child seeing this magazine cover in stores? Absolutely not.

This is another thing in life that is argumentative. We all know breast feeding is good for many children. The problem is at what age do you stop the breast feeing. There are no standards that I know of.

The publisher and “Time” should get in some kind of trouble for indecent use of a child’s photo or something on that hand..! And I mean literary, they should really be investigated over this !! Even if they might claim it is not a “real” photo it is just the same and it is the point of the matter. That is just extremely gross and very disturbing to even look at. Where is the justice, this should have never gotten as far as even being published.

The average age worldwide is 4, the natural weaning age of human babies is between 2 an 9. Obviously you have never breast fed because they DO NOT chew on your breasts. Im sure if that was the case much less people would be doing what God intended. Also it is reccommended to nurse your child for AT LEAST 2 years, or longer if desired. It is providing your child with the best possible nourishment available.

Being an extended nursing mother I am not offended by the fact that this mother is still nursing her son at all. I am VERY disgusted that Time would use this specific photo for it’s cover. There is a tactful way to promote the intimacy of breastfeeding between a mother and her toddler and this photo does NOT show that. Shame on Time magazine!!! It’ s hard enough for nursing mother’s to get the acceptance that they and their child deserves without making a mockery of it.

As some of the other responses have said, this poor child will be ridiculed for something meant to be a very natural thing just because of Times poor way of showing it.

no, society does not have to ‘get over’ anything. I have 6 kids but have never breastfed in public-because I have respect for others who may be uncomfortable with it and there is NO reason to push your private activities on others. I do think breast milk past a certain point serves no purpose at all, esp given the lacking diet of many women. Let’s all just make it ok for everyone to walk around nude, hve sex and urinate in public to right? Aren’t they natural body functions? Everyone who does things in public view has opened their ‘business’ for others-and it is our right to find it offensive and rude. .

Breast milk is known to be much better than formula. Breast feeding is completely natural, this photo is too provocative. However, the entire purpose of having breasts is to feed and nourish our children! Women shouldn’t be treated as perverts or indecent for doing the most natural thing for your child. I find it difficult to see caring for your child as offensive and rude. In fact to see it that way is very close minded.

If TIME used an infant this would be no big deal, but this picture looks….pedo given the child’s age. The child will be ridiculed. The guy from TIME who ok’d this cover said he didn’t know how the child would turn out. TIME did it for shock value and hits on its web site. The issue will be pulled if there’s a negative financial impact (i.e., loss subscriptions).

I really don’t think it is anybody’s business to judge rather a woman breast feeds or not or how long she breast feeds as long as there is no harm done, But I think Time magazine is wrong to put this on the cover, someday this child will be in school and could possibly be bullied for this, The child is to young to make decisions about himself, and I really don’t think this is in the child’s best interest in the future, WAY TO GO TIME MAGAZINE.

he is almost as tall as her, he’s not 3 yrs. dis is ridiculous , i think when the teeth comes out its time to give up the baby food. infants start to eat cereal at 6 mths, after 1 yr most food is introduce. its time to give up the breast milk. or even pump it .. to have this grown boy sucking on her tits is ridiculous
