A new report claims ‘Vogue’ Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour refused to let Kim attend the major fashion event!
Apparently there are some parties even Kim Kardashian can’t buy her way into! The reality star was noticeably missing from the 2012 Met Ball earlier this week — Kanye West, while dashing, looked awfully lonely — and now the real reason behind her absence has finally been revealed.
Anna Wintour, is the Costume Institute Gala’s co-chair and oversees both the benefit committee and the guest list. A source tells HollywoodLife.com that Anna approves “every single person, outfit and aspect of the event.”
“[Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour] hates Kim,” a Kardashian source tells RadarOnline.com. “Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”
Ouch! But would Kanye really go the this event without his lady love by his side? But on the other hand, Kim was busy promoting her Sears Kardashian Kollection line with her sisters at back-to-back photo shoots. Kim is a busy lady and maybe she didn’t have time to go to the ball?
But apparently Anna’s hatred for the Kardashians goes beyond the Met Ball.
“Anna would allow Kim Kardashian on the cover of Vogue over her dead body,” the source continues. “As long as Anna is in charge you will NOT see Kim on Vogue.”
Poor Kim! She may have gotten her start on reality TV, but we still think she would have looked gorgeous at the ball.

I’m sorry but the Met Ball are for those who have not only been in the big screen but who have TALENT….I’m glad Mrs. Wintour didn’t invite her, why should she!! She is the name in all fashion magazine …..beyond all our dreams!!
Not only does she get to overseas what comes in style for her next month issue…but Vogue was and will be one off the top fashion magazine in the world. Plus like I was saying TALENT…like Barbara Walters said to them….you don’t sing, you don’t ACT, you don’t have any TALENT (but be fame whore, and money hungry) plus ones you do porn it will follow you until the day you die kimmie!!

Only reason she went to the white house was because fox news invited her. So did Lindsey Lohan. She was the butt of some harsh jokes. It is about time Someone is standing up to them. I guess E does not rule everyone. I am positive, if she could have went, she would have moved heaven and earth to attend this year. I doubt this story is true, but it actually would have been nice to see her there…Fame Whore aside lol, she has great style…and a great body. She is all about fashion, so it was weird that she wouldnt be invited. Love her or hate her, she build a fashion empire. and if Paris Hilton has been on the cover of Vogue twice being the idiot that she is, Anna Wintour has no excuse not to put kim on her cover. Actually, your right. She would have stole the show but in a negative way. She would have worn a dress with her nipples almost hanging out like she did at the pre-Grammy party. (Where she wore the blue gown) Or she would have worn something so tight on her azz that all the pics and articles that night would have been about Kim Kardashian’s privates. She would have made sure she had some Kim friendly paparazzi around to take nonstop photos of her. Then she would have sniveled around some real A-List stars or designers and request that her picture be taken with them so she can prove that she really does fit in. Then some down-on-their-luck ex-PETA member paid by Kartrashian Inc. would throw flour on her so everyone could feel sorry for her and say she was right to divorce Kris after 72 days. The Met ball is about art, fashion and culture. Kim does not represent any of that. But if it makes you feel any better, she did get invited to the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party.

Actually, you’re wrong. A-Listers are the most revered of celebrities and have accolades to prove their success. Like winning an Oscar, Tony or Grammy. A Listers get top billing in movies. Whether you like them or not, here are some A-Lister: Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, Rita Moreno, Denzel Washington, Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, Robert DeNiro, Clint Eastwood etc..
