The moment Vampire Diaries fans have been waiting three long years for is almost upon us: The May 10 season finale will finally force Elena (Nina Dobrev) to choose between Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder). And while fans have been dangerously vocal on the subject since day one, only recently have the good people of Mystic Falls started offering up their two cents.

So who in Elena’s life is telling her to stick with Stefan, and who is telling her to take a walk on the wild side with Damon?

I think Elena should be with Damon. To me Damon and Elena act like a real couple then Stefan and Elena. And plus the last episode, when Stefan call’s her and says the Claus is dead she doesn’t cry but when Damon call’s she starts to cry about him. So yea, Damon and Elena ♥

DELENA all the way, Elena loves Damon and everyone knows it excePt her. She doesn’t allow herself to think that bc she loves Stefan bc he was there for her when she needed someone but now her feelings have changed she is not INLOVE with Stefan anymore but she still loves him but she doesn’t admitt it bc she doesn’t want to hurt herself or Stefan… DELENA ALL THE WAY<3

Elena should be with Damo fr so many reasons. Ever since the first episode I have shipped Delena and I’m never looking back. Stefan and Elena are cute but they get boring and when Damon and Elena are together they always share a beautiful scene worth crying or an adventurous scene worth laughing about.

I love Damon (the now Damon, not early season 1 Damon) but clearly Stefan is her better match. I’m afraid that the writers are going to be influenced by the Damon/Elena fan craze and force them together in season 4. I think a lot of it is that fans love the idea that they are dating in real life. If her and Paul Wesley were an item, I think it would be a Stefan/Elena craze.
I hope Katherine comes back so we see that Damon has never gotten over her.

That’s not true.
I never thought they were together before season two and I’m team Delena. It’s not because they’re an item we want them to be together in the show, it’s because of the chemistry there is between them.

I think, both are great. I love Stefan and I love Damon. But for Elena, i think it’s better, if she chooses Damon. They fit eachother and are the best for eachother, because one of them is everything, the other isn’t. Stefan and Elena are shaing too much. It isn’t an exciting. They don’t have many different options of something and it’s boring to see. Katherine would be cool with Stefan, because they have those flames and spark, Damon and Elena have. It would be good for the show and for the fans better, if they would get that way. There are just so much more Delena-Fans! If they’ll put Stelena together, 70-80% of the Fans wouldn’t want to see the TV-show anymore, so…
Even in Germany, EVERYONE likes Delena better. I’ve never seen someone here, who ships Stelena.

well i think you very wrong because you only looking at the people you know what about the rest of the world who watches vampire dairies im sure you dont know what they think trust me damon and elena dont go together reason being that she doesnt love him but she cares about him they may have chemistry but whats chemistry without love just another failure…when or if kathrine do come back its best that damon should have her since there both evil and allover the place…no one wants a sad ending!!!! stephan doesnt love katherine because stephan was compelled so look at the brighter picture stephan and elena has chemistry and love now that is what you call a relationship…not just chemistry unless u expect damon should just have sex with her and leave…love is what keeps some1 2geda not chemistry because soon it will wear out….stephan and elena is just toooo gud 2 geda in reality and on screen and she says it herself that she prefers being with stephan in reality and onscreen!!!!! everyone wants a happy ending not a sad one because thats how it will end if she ends up with damon…damon had said he love elena but he did so many girls during that time how can you be with someone like that and they say they love you certainly i wouldnt because thats just too sad.

i think it should be damon because he better for her because stefan cant contor tha part of him and also damon didnt wak out on her like stefan and damon loves elena. and damon hurts because of wat kathrine did to him and i think elena heal tha part of him wen them to are together.and i think they look great together :)

That is sp not true the only time he went sleeping around is after elena told him it would always bes stefan and after Katherine rejected he he was alone and felt awful wouldnt you if the two people you loved mpst rejected you i think he truly loves elena and wants to take care of her not just “bang ” her

The reason why she should b w/ damon is b cuze he is the only 1 fit 2 protect her. Let’s face it, damon has more control of his bloodlust than stefan does! I hope that next season elena comes 2 her senses and choose damon. She always says she cares about him. IMO, I think elena does <3 him, she doesn't want 2 say the other word, luve, cuze she herself doesn't want 2 get hurt which is selfish. Just like Katherine! Damon might be a jerk sometimes, but good, bad, ugly, or indifferent, he has stuck by her side. Stefan was the 1 who left. Say what u will stelena fans, but it's the truth, and deep down, every 1 knows that!

Amen!!! I fully agree with Caitlin! I mean, like after watching seasons 1 & 2, I’d say that Elena should be with Damon cos the kind of Love that they share is what defines TRUE LOVE is all about. Being with Stefan is good but it isn’t what she really needs. I mean his Love for is truly pure and loyal but she needs someone in her life that is unpredictable and who challenges her every moves or decisions. Someone like Damon. I mean face it, she brings out that good/best in him and he challenges her which is a very good thing coz by challenging her, he pushes her into situations that help her to reconsider her decision makings, and her true emotions thus resulting her to become the person she is now. So unfortunately for you Stefelena fans, I’m going for Damon and Elena. And that if it so happens that she somehow idiotically chooses Stefan over Damon, it don’t matter cos as we all know, in real life she’s Damon’s girl. So boo hoo to you Stefelena fans!!!!!
