Kristen Stewart may be one of the most famous celebs in the world, but that doesn’t stop the 22-year-old actress from going to public music festivals with her friends — and fans!

Last month, Kristen went to Coachella with a group of her best friends, and as expected, was trailed by the paparazzi. But that didn’t stop the brunette beauty from having a great time in the desert!

“Yeah, every once in awhile it’s odd,” Kristen said during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live on May 7.

To cope with the photographers, easy-breezy Kristen said that she simply pulled her baseball cap down over her head. “It’s a done deal,” she explained.

Though Kristen may be used to the constant media attention and isn’t phased when fans clamor to take her picture, her friends can get really protective. “My friends are really hilarious actually. I need to tell them to calm down,” Kristen admitted. “They’ll be like ‘Hey! I see you taking a picture!’ and I’m like, no, that’s perfectly fine.”

Even Jimmy Kimmel remarked on the level of mania outside the studio sparked by Kristen’s appearance on the show. “It’s beyond the normal level of a celebrity getting attacked,” he said.

Kristen disagreed, and replied, “It’s not. Everyone knew I was coming here.”
