'The Voice' Season Finale: A Winner Is Finally Crowned

After months of intense competition, the final four contestants — Tony Lucca, Juliet Simms, Jermaine Paul and Chris Mann – took to the stage on the May 8 season finale of The Voice, and one of them was officially crowned. So who had the honor of being named “The Voice”? Drumroll please…

Jermaine Paul!

Sobbing on stage in front of millions of viewers, Jermaine thanked everyone who voted for him, as well as his family for their undying support.

“Nobody but Jesus!” he exclaimed. “Nobody!”

Juliette or chris mann shoulda won… last season random soulfull black guy won… that seems to be recipe to win this show. Guess Blake was first to figure it out when he saved him.

No! Juliet Simms should’ve won jermaines voice was annoying and Juliet made this show I honestly think the race card was definatly played on this season… Just sayin…. Juliet is the winner in my book and she will sell WAY MORE than jermaine.. He sucks

You actually have to appeal to your own race in order to play the race card, I did not see that with Jermaine.

few days ago i used to hate JUSTIN BIEBER and luv CHRISTINA AGUILERA but her rude attitude that she showed towards Tony and Adam forced me to ditch her and now i luv Justin Bieber bcoz of his regular hits and good behaviour towards people. Chris Man was the best singer that the voice have ever had.It is very unfortunate that America could not see it. A voice that the whole world won’t have a chance to ever hear. ..shame America.

I pray and hope he will be picked by a wonderful record deal.

What is NBC going to do now that The Voice kept dropping in the ratings all year?
Tonight’s finale was Terrible!
Way too drawn out, way too much boring filler, and the woman doing the interviews was so bad it was hard to watch.
Plus yesterday show with last year’s final four proves the show does not have contestant’s talent to be stars.
Today’s final four, only Juliet with the talent to be a star and she did not win.
Also for a show called The Voice, there was a lot of lip syncing in tonight’s final.
I predict The Voice will be The Flop next year.

After Christina’s rude behavior I may not even watch next season. I have always been a fan of hers but was so disappointed at how disrespectful she was to Tony…from the get go. I’m glad Jermaine won but also enjoyed Juliet. A lot of amazing talent. I say get rid of Christina and find someone who isn’t such a diva!!!

Yes, I thought that either he or Chris Mann would win.

He performed brilliantly on the finals and deserved the win.

But I enjoyed the performances from Tony and Juliet too.

Both germain Paul and Juliet simmer were a tie for me. Germain is incredible but so is Juliet. She sounds like a mixture of James brown, Janice Joplin and Joe cocker how much better can it get?

Jermaine gave stunning performance last night and yeah its not any surprise for me that he win . I am really glad for Blake Shelton he finally achieved what he deserve .Feeling great that neither Team Xtina nor Team Adam win bcoz then there is stupid fight will start that Tony should win or Chris deserve to win; in Twitter , Facebook even in Hollywood Life. So CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! to Jermaine and Blake . What a wonderful night for u guys!

Chris Mann had the best voice by far but his genre was not appreciated by the people who vote. Jermaine was no surprise. Saw him as a front runner all along. Adam & Blake will have fun with the fact they won seasons 1 & 2

Jermaine is a very versatile singer, glad he won. Top 4 are all great singers. So glad they all got vehicles from Kia, especially Juliet who said she didn’t have one. WELL DONE!

Not surprised but definitely not the most deserving… regardless of the result juliet will have a much more successful career in all honesty. Tony lucca was still one dimensional, Chris Mann has a great voice but not a lot of people listen to opera and jermaine had his time to shine and was not AS amazing as everyone kept on repeating…

Jermaine Paul exceeded the other 3 contestants. He is AWESOME and i’m so happy he won. America got this one right!!!!!! Congrats Jermaine!! I look forward to your album being released. God gave you a special talent!! God gave you “The Voice.”

I agree with you. Jermaine was the best singer. I loved him since day one. I am so glad he won. He has such an incredible voice and such a great stage presence. I can hardly wait until his CD comes out. Congratulatios to Jermaine and Blake!

Haha America made the worst decision you have EVER seen? That’s pretty sad to get that upset. It’s just a show and I’m sure everyone that didn’t win will have some kind of album out. Saying Jermaine sucked is funny since he has a GREAT voice, I’d like to see you get up there and sing better. Not sure what kind of singers you listen too… I personally wanted Jamar to be the winner but there is nothing wrong with Jermaine winning. At all.
