A Minnesota mom was arrested after she was caught trying to stop her five-month-old son from breathing. Read on for this shocking report!

Katie Lewis is charged with child endangerment, domestic assault by strangulation and third-degree assault after she was caught suffocating her son on camera.

Katie had brought her child to the Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota telling the staff her son had stopped breathing, according to the Daily Mail. Her son was then placed under observation in a room equipped with video and audio monitoring systems. In a baffling turn of events, 24-year-old mother was then caught on camera pinching her son’s nose and covering his mouth in order to suffocate him. Hospital staffers immediately stepped in.

The boy kicked for 45 seconds and went limp, according to the arrest report.

Katie admitted that she “snapped” because of her issues with bringing up a child, and also she had stopped her son from breathing on several occasions, said the report.

The infant survived the attack but sustained substantial bodily harm, said a spokesperson from the Children’s Hospital resource center.

i agree 100% with michelle, she doesnt deserve a child at alll, and if you really dont want a baby that bad, dont have sex or make sure your pretected 100%.

So sad to think about how many babies fall through the cracks and this happens to everyday!!!! If only they knew there was another option there are so many ppl who would love to raise a baby!! Its so sad all the people who cant conceive and then the people who hav kids act like they are disposable makes me sick!!!! Theres no better gift in this world…Thank god that room had a video camera!

People like her should die it really makes me mad because dumb people like her can have baby’s but I have to go though a lot just to have one I don’t see why people like her have kids if they don’t want them give them up for adoption so people like me can have that chance to love and care for them baby’s she deserves to rot better yet give her the chair or something she don’t need to live after what she did to that poor baby boy he couldn’t fight for himself he is just a little baby give him to someone who can love him and care for him that lil baby deserves some who will love him not some whose gonna try and kill him that’s my thoughts and how I feel
