Russell Brand talked all about the pros and cons of being a vampire when he took to the stage at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City on May 5, and HollywoodLife.com was there to see his hilarious performance!
The comedian, 36, admitted he had no idea what Twilight was when he hosted the 2009 MTV Movie Awards — can you believe it?
“I didn’t know what Twilight was… But I could tell by the look on people’s faces that it was important,” he told the audience, adding that while he’s not the biggest Robert Pattinson fan, he totally understands Rob’s sex appeal!
“But Robert Pattison, if you’re young it’s exciting to you, perhaps because of his bone structure or he represents edgy sex,” he said.
Russell went on to say that if he could do it over again and reintroduce the cast, who took home the award for Best Movie at the 2009 show, he’d come more prepared with a few witty one-liners!
“I imagine there are pros and cons to dating a vampire,” Russell said. “On the downside you can only see him at night and you’ll never have a church wedding.”
He’s too much! The jokes turned a little dirty when he talked about some of the other “pros” about Edward and Bella’s relationship.
“If you’re ever caught short without the necessary sanitary products, your partner will be happy to help let your worse period be his time of the month. Imagine when I caught Robert in the ladies restroom with his hand in the little bin…”
