‘Who did “What Makes You Beautiful” better?’ Is that even a question? The original of a song is always better, and glee never really do exceptional covers, in all honesty. But some of you people commenting need to watch yourself- saying ‘it was crap’ when obviously vocally they were okay. Think about what you say before you make directioners look like obnoxious 5 year olds.

now that glee has turned all gay and lesbian it has been so eeewwww. I can’t stand it any more! It was ok when it was just blane and kurt but now the girls together, it’s gone way too far! Now that they’re doing one direction and thinking they’re better than them! na ah not on! One direction are the hottest and best band ever!!!!! Well, I can tell you that he is really glad to see that so many people are fans of his. Somebody told him to leave 1D and die in a hole instead. Cried for 4 hours straight. Poor thing. Btw: How do I know this? I’m Eleanor Calder, and I found it out as soon as I saw it on Twitter.

It sounds almost the same as the original. The only difference I can hear is the Glee guys are a little older than the guys in One Direction (with the exception of Damian Mcginty who is 19).

you cant put crap singers on a brilliant song. I mean atleast one direction can actually sing. Chord cannot. evin can he did not get a solo. And I hate that dreadlock guy hes retarded. The cast of Glee (and this really is not that, since Chord Overstreet is a guest star these days, as are the Glee Project winners of Damian McGinty and Samuel Larson) is quite good. Kevin McHale has always been able to sing well, and Harry Shum Jr. is more of a dancer with modest singing abilities. However, One Republic created this song, and in this case, I think they are marginally better since it was written to their strengths as a band.
