Cinco de Mayo is finally here and what better way to celebrate than with a drink in hand!

The Cinco de Mayo Marg

Found at The Royalton Hotel in NYC

Silver tequila, fresh carrot juice, grapefruit juice, lemon and agave nectar,served on the rocks with a twist of lime

    • Ingredients:
    • 1 oz carrot juice
    • 3/8 oz agave nectar
    • 1/2 oz grapefruit juice
    • 1/2 oz lemon juice
    • 1 1/2 oz Silver Tequila

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a tin with ice and shake. Serve over ice and garnish with carrot greens.

Sweet Fiesta

    • 1 part Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur
    • ¾ part reposado tequila
    • ½ part fresh lime juice
    • 6 mint leaves
    • 2 strawberries

Muddle mint and strawberries. Add remaining ingredients and shake vigorously over ice. Double strain in a martini or coupe glass. Garnish with a strawberry (can also be served over ice in a Collins glass).

El Oso Roja

    • In a shaker combine:
    • 1 ½ parts Siete Leguas Reposado Tequila
    • ¾ Parts Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur
    • 1 part Boiron Blood Orange Puree
    • ½ part Simple Syrup
    • 4 Jalapeno Slices
    • Shake well with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass

Oaxacan Miel

    • In a mixing glass combine:
    • 1 ¾ parts Ilegal Joven Mezcal
    • ½ part Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur
    • ½ parts sweet vermouth
    • Add ice, stir, strain into an old fashioned glass with fresh ice. Garnish with an orange twist

Berry Medley Sangria

    • 16 oz Haiku Gekkeikan Sake
    • 2 cups of mixed strawberries, raspberries and blueberries
    • 8 oz blackberry brandy
    • 10oz club soda
    • 2 oz triple sec
    • Lightly muddle berries and add all ingredients except club soda. Add ice, top with club soda and stir gently from the bottom up.

The Jägerita

    • 2 parts Jägermeister
    • ½ part Cointreau®
    • 1 part sour mix
    • Get out your German sombrero. Combine Jägermeister and Cointreau® in an ice filled cocktail glass. Fill with sour mix. Blend with ice to make it frozen.

Harmonie Paloma

• 2 oz. Hpnotiq Harmonie
• 1 oz. Premium Blanco Tequila
• 2 oz. Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice

Directions: Pour ingredients over ice, stir and serve in a highball glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Hpnotiq Margarita

• 2 oz. Hpnotiq
• 1 oz. Premium Blanco Tequila
• ½ oz. Triple Sec
• (Optional) Splash of Lime or Pineapple Juice

Directions: Shake well and pour over ice in a salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime.

Cinco de Mayo Rum Punch

    • Served at The Sanctuary Hotel in NYC
    • Bacardi Rum
    • Bitters
    • Fresh Lime Juice
    • Fresh Orange Juice
    • Homemade Simple Syrup

Cucumber Margarita

    • ¾ c. Sauza Blue 100% Agave Tequila
    • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and sliced
    • 6 oz. lime juice
    • 2 oz. DeKuyper Triple Sec
    • 2 oz. simple syrup
    • Garnish: cucumber slices and lime wedge

To make simple syrup, mix equal oz. hot water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. In a pint glass, muddle half of the sliced cucumbers with the tequila. Let it sit in the refrigerator for one hour. Strain the cucumber tequila and combine it with all ingredients in a pitcher. Stir and serve over ice. Garnish with cucumber slices and a lime wedge.

Kentucky Lemonade

    • 2oz Woodford Reserve
    • 1/2oz Maple Syrup
    • Half a Lemon – Muddled

Shaken and served over ice in a tall glass

Margarita Bliss

    • 2 cups X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
    • ½ cup sparkling water
    • 1 cup zero calorie sweetener
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • 1 cup blackberries, pulsed in blender
    • 6 slices of fresh ginger
    • ½ cup Cabo Wabo Blanco
    • 1 cup ice

Tropical Dreams

    • 2 oz. SKYY Infusions Coconut
    • 2 chunks fresh pineapple
    • 1 chunk banana
    • .5 oz. orange juice
    • .5 oz. key lime juice
    • .5 oz. simple syrup
    • .5 oz. crème de violette

Pineapple leaf

    • Muddle two fresh chunks of pineapple and one chunk of banana together. Add all other ingredients. Shake ingredients and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Keep strainer open as to let the muddled fruit become part of the actual cocktail. Garnish with a pineapple leaf.

MIDORI MARGARITA

    • 1 oz. Midori® Melon Liqueur
    • 1 ½ oz. Cabo Wabo ™ Blanco Tequila
    • 1 oz. freshly squeezed organic Lime Juice

Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Sweet & Spicy Diablo

    • Tequila Blanco, Cilantro leaves,
    • 1 Serrano chili sliced 1/4-inch thick
    • tequila blanco

    • simple syrup

In a mixing tin, add ice, Voli Orange Vanilla, Lemonade, Agave Nectar and Pineapple Juice.

    • Ingredients:
    • 2 oz Camarena Silver Tequila
    • 1 oz Lemon Juice
    • 1/2 oz Agave Nectar
    • 2 Cucumber Wheels
    • 2 Blackberries
    • 2 oz Ginger Beer

Directions:
Muddle cucumber and blackberries in a mixing glass. Add tequila, lemon juice, agave nectar and ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass with ice. Top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with cucumber wheel.

Avocado Margarita

Ingredients:

    • 6 oz tequila
    • 2 oz triple sec
    • 6 oz limeade concentrate
    • 2 cups ice
    • 1 chopped avocado
    • 6 oz water

Directions:
Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth.

Jalapeno Margarita

Ingredients:

    • 1/2 fresh jalapeno
    • 1.5 oz lime juice or margarita mix
    • 4 oz blanco tequila
    • 4 oz orange liqueur
Ice

Directions:
Muddle jalapeno and then combine lime juice (or margarita mix), tequila and orange liqueur. Shake and strain over ice.

Watermelon Margarita Recipe

Ingredients:

    • 1-½ oz. tequila
    • ¾ oz. triple sec
    • ¾ oz. Midori
    • 2 oz. sour mix
    • 6 oz. cubed, seeded watermelon
    • 8 oz. ice

Directions:
Blend all ingredients together; serve in a 14-ounce glass. Garnish with lime and a watermelon wedge.

Ginger Peach Margarita Recipe

Ingredients:

    • 12 oz fresh peach puree or frozen peaches pureed
    • 4 oz ginger syrup
    • 2 oz lime juice
    • 6 oz peach or nectar juice
    • 8 oz tequila
    • 4 oz Cointreau
    • 4 lime wedges
    • Colored sugars, lime, candied ginger and peach wedges for garnish

Directions:
Place pureed peaches, ginger syrup, lime juice and peach juice or nectar in a blender and mix together. Pour the mixture into a bowl and place in the freezer. When ready to serve, add the alcohol.
