Find out what William bought Kate and what she cooked him for dinner — you’ll never believe it!
Prince William and Kate Middleton are just like us, with the exception of the crown jewels, body guards, and royal titles. Life & Style reports that even though more than two billion people watched Prince William and Kate tie the knot on April 29 of 2011, they opted for a much more low-key celebration.
An insider says that they spent the romantic day at their beachside cottage in Angelsey, Wales in “typical William and Kate style.”
“Their little cottage is where they feel happiest,” the source says. “Just the two of them.”
The day before they attended the wedding of Kate’s dear friend Hannah Gillingham. But even though these two spent their anniversary at home, it doesn’t mean that William didn’t pull out all the stops.
The source reveals that William picked a piece of “exquisite jewelry” for Kate and that she actually baked “fish in parchment” for her hubby. That’s said to be keeping with one year wedding anniversary traditions.
Even though there’s a lot of pressure from the Queen for the couple to produce an heir, they reportedly are in no hurry.
