Aww! The actress revealed she ‘never intended for her long blonde tresses to be chopped off’ on ’The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ on May 2. What do YOU think of her look?
Cameron Diaz, 39, told Jay Leno, ‘There was a little misunderstanding. I said I just wanted a little bit cut off and it went from here to here.”
“I felt so vulnerable. For a woman to all of a sudden have no hair,” she said, clutching at what was left of her locks.
The star explained the mishap happened in December before a scheduled holiday. “It was the night before [her friend] was leaving to go away for Christmas with her family. It was 10 o’clock at night and we were running around just trying to get in the haircut,” she said.
When asked how she reacted, Diaz replied: “I yelled at her, I screamed at her. No, she felt really bad. I felt really bad. She started crying. I started crying.”

Let me start by saying two things. I admire Cameron Diaz as an actress and I have never commented on a show or guest. As someone who has just undergone chemotherapy and as a side effect lost all my hair, I couldn’t believe the show I watched where she was so distaught over a haircut. I believe she said “I felt so vulnerable. For a woman to all of a sudden have no hair,” I just sat there with my jaw dropped and thought, are you serious? This has bothered me since the show. You want to feel vulnerable, go bald for awhile. Unbelievable.
