Jessica Simpson gave birth to baby girl Maxwell on May 1, and her arrival may just give Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy a run for her money as the biggest celebrity birth of 2012! Who do YOU think is the baby of the year?

Maxwell Drew Johnson finally made her debut on May 1, and we’re so excited for new mommy Jessica Simpson and her fiance Eric Johnson — just as excited as we were when Blue Ivy Carter was born in January!

Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s four-month-old little girl became a celeb before she even left Lenox Hill hospital, and we were SO happy when her mom and dad shared the first pics of her on their Tumblr.

Now we’re anxiously awaiting the first pics of newborn Maxwell, who was born in a luxury suite at Cedars-Sinai.

We can’t wait to watch these two little divas grow up! Will they be best buds?

Blue Ivy wins by far. After all Beyonce never charged a penny for her baby photo’s to be shown to the public.They put the photo’s on there web site for there fans to see for free. Both Beyonce and Jay-Z put there fans first. Unlike some.

Do they not think of how the baby will be affected in school? School kids don’t care who your parents are. That is totally a boys name. I know there are unisex names but not Maxwell for a girl. Who am I to say anything but even pychiatrist tell you to think how a name affects a child. Rich or not you can’t stop children from being cruel. If it was for centimental reasons,I think the name should have been saved for a boy. I have always loved Jessica, she seems to be a sweet person. She said on Ellen,they were giving the baby a normal name, yes its normal, but not for a girl. Either way a baby is a great gift from God. Congrats!

As if either one of these super rich women cares whether we think there babies are the baby of the year! Doesn’t stop either baby from receiving the royal lay out that there parents are fabulously providing for them does it? I love what they are doing and would love to do things like that for my kids too!!!

these children didn’t ask to be born of famous parents only ones that love them. @Sandy Jessica’s pregnancy was the normal length roughly 9 months it only seemed longer because the press was speculating for six months before she actually was which is common for celebs. I’ll Say Maxwell Drew is the baby of the year Bey had a lot of controversy surrounding her pregnancy while Jessica didn’t. Beyonce is supposed to be oh so private yet she announced her pregnancy at the VMA’s while Jessica did Via Twitter

I would say that the only reason Jessica Simpson’s baby is a big thing is because she was pregnant for so long!!! Yet Blue Ivy, is one of the most anticipated baby arrivals ever simply due to her parents, not because her mother was preggo for like, a year! And also, i agree, this post is suggesting that JS comes anywhere close to Bey and we all know that isnt true!

first it was Alicia with the name Egypt then Beyonce with blue ivy and finally Jessica with Maxwell for a baby gal…well! maybe its their taste but for petes sake they are poor cute little babies..i believe no baby is more superior than n the other…cant you people find something else to write about…aaaaarrggggg
