Miss USA Arrested

Former Miss New Hampshire 2010, Nicole Houde, was arrested for allegedly attacking her boyfriend after an argument turned physical.

Maybe all pageant contestants aren’t into world peace after all? Nicole Houde, former Miss New Hampshire, was arrested after she reportedly punched, bit and scratched her boyfriend Scott Nickerson, 33, during an argument.

Nicole, 26, was crowned Miss New Hampshire USA in 2010 and competed nationally in the Miss USA pageant that same year.

The argument began when Scott accused Nicole of having an affair. He took her cell phone, presumably to look for evidence, and refused to return it. Police say that’s what led Nicole to start throwing punches. She was later arrested for simple assault.

Since winning the crown in 2010, Nicole has worked as a makeup artist, personal trainer and beauty pageant consultant. “I learned so much from my experience and I enjoyed doing everything that I did so why not expand that into my career and do what I love?!” she wrote on her website. “I look forward to helping others better themselves and reach for their goals because a lot of times life gets in the way, we get distracted and just need a little extra boost and help to get things on the right track.”

Do YOU think Nicole should have been arrested for assaulting her boyfriend?
