Could Jessica be trying to induce labor by taking a bumpy ride?

Jessica Simpson took a drive with her fiance Eric Johnson on April 29 in Los Angeles and she still looked heavily pregnant. It may be an old wives tale, but bumpy drives are among the efforts for women trying to induce overdue pregnancies.

The last weeks of pregnancy can often be tough and the 31-year-old mommy-to-be may be feeling some pressure. Many people are awaiting the arrival of her baby girl, Maxwell!  Katy Perry and Chelsea Handler took to their Twitter accounts to question why Jessica hasn’t given birth yet.

Katy tweeted on April 26: “Has Jessica Simpson had that baby yet?! I’m getting anxious.”

Chelsea tweeted on April 27: “How has jessica simpson still not given birth to this baby? I’m getting frightened.”

Days before the celebs took to Twitter, Jessica tweeted on April 21: “To everyone who keeps congratulating me on the birth of my baby girl…I’m still pregnant!! Don’t believe what you read ladies and gents.”
