Jennifer Garner may have won the Female Star of the Year award, but the mommy-of-three admits she spends more time nursing her newborn son than she does on camera!
Jennifer Garner revealed her fabulous post-baby body, but we haven’t seen much of the busy mom since she gave birth to her son, Samuel Affleck, two months ago. The 40-year-old mom admitted in her acceptance speech after snagging the Female Star of the Year Award at CinemaCon on April 26 that being a mommy hasn’t left much time for an acting career!
Even Jennifer’s mom was a bit surprised when she found out her daughter was receiving the award!
“She said, ‘Jennifer, do these people know you haven’t worked in the last year?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I feel they probably know what I’ve been up to. I haven’t stepped foot on a set.’ You are correct, mom,’” Jennifer recalled.
Perhaps it’s because breastfeeding her son has become a full time job!
Jennifer continued, “She said, ‘Can they take this back? Because every time I talk to you, you are breastfeeding, you are running car pool, you are on the library committee — you are not acting!’”
We hope to see her back on the movie set, but we love that Jennifer is such a dedicated mother! Do you agree, HollyMoms?

I say “WELL EARNED” award for Jen. She is a good example in the world of craziness these actors live in. Beautiful, kind, loving and family oriented, as well as a talented actor. May both Jen and Ben and their lovely family remain healthy and happy.
