A baby girl in Pakistan was born with a rare genetic disorder called polymelia.
In Pakistan on April 22 a baby girl was born with a third arm, which protrudes from the center of her back close to the spinal cord, The Express Tribune reports.
She was sent to Nishtar Hospital in Multan on April 25 for doctors to operate on the infant. The rare genetic disorder called polymelia causes babies to be born with extra limbs, Dr. Ghulam Shabbir said of Nishtar Hospital.
Fewer than one in a million babies are born with the disorder.
Our hearts are with her family!
