'The Voice' Results: Did Adam & Cee Lo Cut The Right Singers?

Cee Lo & Adam made their most difficult choices yet April 24 on ‘The Voice,’ as they sent two more contestants home.

The Voice‘s live results show kicked off the best way possible April 24 with a performance by Florence and the Machine. Not only did they put on a great performance, but they were even joined by Cee Lo Green‘s Team! Of course, the fun ended there.

The eliminations began with the reveal of who America saved. Tony Lucca was spared for Adam Levine‘s team, while Jamar Rogers got the save for Team Cee Lo — leaving Katrina Parker, Mathai, Cheesa and Juliet Simms to sing for their lives.

Mathai went first, taking on Carrie Underwood, while Katrina sang a song by Pink. The coaches agreed Katrina was the stronger performer, even before Adam had to make his choice, and their words seemed to make up his mind for him. So Mathai went home.

Next up, Cheesa took on Kelly Clarkson and sounded very flat, which Blake Shelton noted. Juliet was the last contestant to sing and received similar critiques. Still, she was far better than Cheesa — and the obvious save. When it came time to eliminate someone, Cee Lo praised Cheesa’s voice, but felt that Juliet’s voice “imitated art.” He said America loves her, so he sided with America.

Next week, the remaining contestants will take part in the semifinals, leading up to the finale in May! So soon!
