ABC Family Renews 'The Lying Game' For Second Season

‘The Lying Game’ will return with new episodes this winter.

Lying Game fans have been waiting not-so-patiently for news of a second-season renewal, and I can happily confirm that ABC Family officially announced that the show will begin production on season two this summer!

If you’re a regular HollywoodLife.com reader, you probably know how excited I am about this, given my impassioned plea to the network for a renewal.

And how could they not renew it, considering how season one ended? I need to know what’s really going on with Sutton (Alexandra Chando) and Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) and I need to know NOW!

Now that we know we’re getting a second season, let’s swap theories: Did Alec really kill Derek? How long have Rebecca and Sutton been working together? And will anyone ever address the mysterious disappearance of Char? Drop your thoughts in the comments section below!

Please ABC family make Emma and Ethan get back together PLEASE!!!! also it says why Char mysteriously left but didn’t she leave to go to Florida with her dad cause Phylis got a DUI for the millionth time?

Yay! So happy!! I loooovvveee this show! Abc family needs to promote it more though! It is so much better than PLL but no one knows about it bc they hardly promote it! I think that rebecca and sutton have been playing a lying game on everyone! And I think the plans got switched when Emma had to flea to Phoenix bc of her foster situation! So glad they have renewed it!!!!

I’m so happy we’ve finally gotten word that there will definitely be a season two. There were so many unanswered questions, and things that need more time to clear up and play out properly.. I fell in love with this show from the first episode and I’m completely intrigued with how it all happened. Cannot wait for season two!

there alot of unanswered questions in the finale. i so glad they renewed it. i think alex did either kill or played a big part of it.but the whole sutton and rebecca thing i have no idea. it gong to be interesting to watch
