After giving a tear-filled testimony on day one of the trial of the man accused of killing her mother, brother and nephew, the ‘Dreamgirls’ returns to court on April 24.
Jennifer Hudson, 30, says she plans to be there for every day of William Balfour‘s trial, the Today show reports.
Prosecutors have not said who is expected to be called to the stand in day two of the murder trial, taking place in a Chicago criminal courts building.
William is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Jennifer’s mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, as well as the singer’s 29-year-old brother Jason Hudson and 7-year-old nephew Julian King.
He is also charged with home invasion, aggravated kidnapping, residential burglary and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
