Selena Gomez Is Back In The Studio Making Music

Despite Selena Gomez’s claim to spend more time filming movies, she spent Monday at a recording studio in Los Angeles! Is she making new hits?

Selena Gomez may be Hollywood’s hottest double threat! The 19-year-old starlet is managing to still make music, while juggling her burgeoning acting career.

“Who’s ready for more @selenagomez @Rock_Mafia music? @selenagomez #inthehouse say hi, RT, tweet spread the word, TT it! SelenaAtRockMafia ;),” the Los Angeles based recording studio Rock Mafia Army tweeted today.

This came as a surprise to many Selena fans, after her recent claim to MTV that she was putting her music career on hold to focus on broadening her acting abilities.

“I’m doing another movie called The Getaway with Ethan Hawke,” she told MTV at the beginning of April. ”It’s really, really exciting. So we’re doing that and then hopefully another movie, but that hasn’t really been confirmed yet. Then I’ll start working on my fourth album, which will be the best album I’ll ever do! But I’m just kind of halting music for a bit.”

We’re glad that Selena has had a change of heart and is back in the studio. While we love to see her on the big screen, we can’t wait to hear what kind of music the “Love You Like a Love Song songstress is planning on releasing next.

I’m pretty sure she’s recording remixe’s or a song for the Selena Quintanilla album. It’s rumored that she’s doing a remix of one of her songs for the album.

she already did that. the song is called bidi bidi bombom and is on a tribute album for selena quintanilla. she has one more year with hollywood records to release her new album and a spanish album i hope thats over so she can focus on her real calling. movies.
