Russell who? Katy was spotted at Coachella over the weekend looking extremely cozy with her new boyfriend, guitar player Robert Ackroyd! Only

Katy Perry was all smiles at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California — and for good reason! The 27-year-old singer was spotted on April 22 engaging in some major PDA with her new boyfriend, Robert Ackroyd, who plays guitar for Florence and the Machine.

Throughout the day, Katy and Robert were seen dancing, hugging, and making out — and they didn’t care who saw! Perhaps this is no surprise, considering Katy’s divorce from actor Russell Brand was finalized in early February.

“Katy is extremely happy right now,” a source close to Katy tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “It’s the happiest she’s been in a long time. She is really enjoying spending time with Rob. They have a lot in common and Katy has always been a huge fan of his band Florence and the Machine. Rob is a really laid back guy. He also has a great sense of humor and is an amazing guitar player.”
