Teresa reconciles with her brother, Caroline deals with an empty nest and Jacqueline’s daughter Ashley leaves Jersey all on the April 22 episode of ‘RHONJ’.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey are back! And it looks like this is going to be the best season ever. Last September the four housewives – Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita , Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile — turned that backs on Teresa Giudice. In fact, it was so bad that Jacqueline didn’t even attent the season 3 reunion.
Well, the season 4 premiere picks up right where it ended, cooking up a stew of drama. Kathy, Caroline and Melissa open the episode at a family barbecue where the topic of conversation is Teresa’s cookbook. Apparently, Caroline hasn’t seen Teresa since the book came out and is still hurt about it. When Teresa arrvies at the gathering, she pulls Caroline aside right away to apologize. Teresa sticks to her “it was just a joke” story while Caroline seems hesitant. The two make peace, but it doesn’t seem like Caroline is fully ready to forgive Teresa just yet. She’s still skeptical. Like Caroline said: “Do I have moron stamped on my head?” Definitely not, Caroline!
Later, Caroline visits the doctor because she’s been suffering from migraines! She says she has little patience and mood swings. Her diagnosis? Missing her sons– oh, and menopause.
Everyone appears to be civil enough to all head to the Jersey Shore for the weekend. Teresa and Joe pack their bags and Miliania calls Joe a “dragon” (I prefer troll). En route, the Gorgas head to the shore where we are informed a lot of “Gorgasms” will be happening. And Joe Gorga isn’t the only one who was planning on getting action. Kathy Wakile packed an extra enhancement gel. Gross.
But while everyone is getting ready for fun weekend in the sun, Jacqueline struggles at home with a now-blonde Ashley Holmes. Jacqueline cries to her brother because Ashley still doesn’t have her life together. The two decide that Ashley needs to leave Jersey and live in Vegas with family for awhile to figure everything out. Call me crazy, but I don’t think Vegas is the best place for Ashley — who is allegedly partying too much — to live!
Back at the shore, Joe feels bad after reading an article in In Touch magazine in which Joe Giudice said Joe Gorga wouldn’t be there for Teresa if he went to jail. Joe sits Teresa down and says that he is there for her and will help her with whatever she wants. After fighting over the past, they come to an agreement to move forward.
“If Joe goes away I’ll be there. I’m going to knock on your dog and take care of those kids, believe me,” Joe says. And Teresa agrees, and says she wants to “be close” with Joe.
All in all a good start to a good season!

I’m on neither side to be hoenst-Teresa wrote a poorly humourous quip about Caroline, even though it was unmalicious it still offended another person, also I doubt she seeked out Caroline’s permission to have her named used in the book. However, Caroline is making a mountain out of a moehill, Teresa made one iffy remark but it wasnt that offensive. Teresa apologized to Caroline, Caroline should have accepted it and ended it.If your asking who I like more as a person, hands down its Teresa- Sure she can say cruel things in the heat of the moment and sure she has a big stubborn streak BUT shes genuine, she’s loyal to her family and friends, she doesnt meddle in other people’s affairs, she’s an extremely hard worker and just an all around decent person.Caroline on the other hand I cant stand her, she comes off as very controlling, “my way is the highway, and if you dont like it get off the road” type attitude. I also hate how she meddles in other peoples’ business and looks her nose down upon others as well when they dont live up to her standards. I couldnt stand it when she called Danielle garbage, downright uncalled for. Now if someone called Caroline that, she’d be screaming mad and probably getting her husband to order a hit on you lol.I heard a rumour that Caroline and Jaqueline were told by Bravo that if they didnt start bringing the drama for Season 4 then they would be fired. I’m wondering if Caroline is just playing this up in order to keep her job, because really I cant see someone being THAT worked up over a quote like this “Caroline is 1/16th italialian”.
