Lea is planning a very special birthday party this weekend, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. And she’s bringing boyfriend Cory Monteith to the bash!

Lea Michele may love one person even more than her boyfriend Cory Monteith.

“Lea is obsessed with Barbra Streisand,” a friend of Lea’s tells HollywoodLife.com. And this year, Lea’s throwing a very special birthday bash for her idol turning 70.

“She has always celebrated Barbra birthday, but this year is extra special because Barbra turns 70,” the sources tells us.

Just like her Glee alter-ego, Lea absolutely adores the singer-actress and she, Cory and friends will celebrate everything Barbra has done over her storied career.

“Basically, Lea and Cory and her friends will watch their favorite Barbra Streisand movies and Lea will of course sing her songs,” the insider says.

And what will Lea be wishing for this April 24, the day of Bab’s birth?

“One of Lea’s biggest dreams is to star in a remake of Funny Girl, which was Barbra’s first movie role,” Lea’s friend reveals to HollywoodLife.com.

I’m sure Lea wouldn’t mind a guest-appearance by the legend herself on Glee. After having Idina Menzel play her mom, Babs would definitely be the icing on the cake for Lea’s Rachel Berry.

“In fact, one of Lea’s other biggest dreams is to have Barbra actually be on Glee where the two could perform the song ‘Evergreen’ together,” the source tells us.

We know they would both look GORGEOUS singing together!

Funny because Lea said she never wanted Barbra (that’s how you spell it btw, take note) in Glee, and Barbra said she definitely didn’t want to be on the show.

Also lol @ you trying to make Monchele happen. I hope they are paying you enough

Funny, here I was thinking that Cory might go back to Coachella with his friends without having to work, and Lea would spend the weekend with her parents since they are in town. And if she’s going to watch Funny Girl it’d be with her mom and Dianna Agron, who LOVES the movie as well. And not a coworker who could care less about Streisand

lea michele is straight and dating cory, dianna agron is dating sebastian, they said plenty of times that they are not gay. move on.
and i don’t think this article is true, but that doesn’t change the fact that lea and dianna are just best friends and not romanticaly involved

getting the facts straight: lea is dating cory and dianna is dating sebastian.
saying they aren’t gay it is not homophobe is just reapeting what they said

First of all, Dianna and Sebastian broke up (though it’s questionable whether they were even truly dating). And second, they have NEVER stated they weren’t gay (just as they have NEVER stated they were straight either; like’s girls essay anyone?). In fact, they ALWAYS change/avoid/dance around the subject when any rumors are brought up.

i don’t know if lea how serious is lea and cory relationship, but i don’t think it is PR. but i agree with you that this information is completly false since lea said before that she would be so nervous and prefer to keep her idols on a respectful distance.
and lea is going to spend time with her mother, but dianna agron will spend time with her boyfriend sebastian.
