In 10 days, Selena is heading to Bulgaria to film ‘The Getaway’ for six weeks — that’s a long time! How will Justin and Selena keep the sparks alive?
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder — and let’s hope that’s the case for lovebirds Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber! In just 10 days, Selena, 19, is leaving for Bulgaria to film an action movie called The Getaway. “It’s all car-chasing,” Selena revealed about her upcoming role. “Luckily, I’m not driving, but there’s a lot of throwing around and cars flipping.”
Although Selena is undeniably excited about her part in film, she’s going to be away from her friends, family, and dreamy boyfriend for six whole weeks! And Bulgaria is 6,620 miles from Justin’s homebase in LA!
Even if Justin, 18, manages to get away for a visit, there are no direct commercial flights between the two locations which means that the popstar’s commute could take close to 20 hours. While the two will be able to talk on the phone and chat via Skype, there’s also a 10-hour time difference to consider.
“Stay connected even if that means sending a text or email in the wee hours of the night or sending surprise packages to each other,” advises sex and relationship expert, Amy Levine. ”Spending time apart can help a couple grow even though there may be miles between them.”
Justin has always been extremely supportive of Selena’s acting career, so let’s hope the cute couple finds a way to keep the spark alive despite the distance.
