HollywoodLife.com consulted with a leading body language expert who believes Jenny McCarthy says one thing, but feels another when it comes to her divorce from Peter Facinelli. Do you agree?
Jenny McCarthy has been busy on the press circuit, promoting her new reality show and consequently discussing her divorce from Peter Facinelli — a topic body language expert Linda Talley thinks makes the actress very uncomfortable, especially after watching her interview on The Ellen Show.
“Before Ellen asks about the relationship, Jennie is rubbing her arm to comfort herself for what’s coming (unless she’s cold on stage),” Talley tells HollywoodLife.com. “Then there’s the discussion of the situation, which Jennie is not really comfortable doing — although she says she wants to talk about it and does.”
So what was Jenny doing physically that tells us she’s feeling nervous?
“She fidgets with her bracelet, picks at her nails—all indications of fidgeting behavior/discomfort/nervousness,” our expert explains. “She uses her hands to speak in a way that appears to include Ellen and the audience but then rubs her leg—again a comforting gesture.”
She adds, “When she talks about continuing the joint care of the children and being there for them, she scrunches her shoulder — so there may be some uncertainty in her mind about how that will work.”
