I thought Stewart’s part in this movie was minor. Apparently they’re going to use her to sell this movie.

No, the films director (Walter Salles) has always maintained that Kristen was the lead actress in this film. I know in the book her character is only in the story, but, she is a very important part of the book and always mentioned in some way. I don’t think this movie needs to trade on Kristen’s fame since it is long awaited film who has a strong fan base.

Pre-production of On The Road was way back in 2007.Kristen Stewart did not even have to audition to get the role as she was invited and casted to play Marylou by the producers who were impressed by her portrayal in the movie INTO THE WILD. SO enough said, she was billed to play the role way before the first TWILIGHT movie came out.

This movie will make Jack Kerouac proud. I can’t wait to see and I am sure that Kristen will be incredibly amazing and do justice to her portrayal of Luann Henderson the way she would have wanted her story to be presented. This year with Kristen’s 3 movies she shows to the world that her range as an actor just keeps expanding and she is definitely amazing in each one of them.

If any film is worth viewing this year–this one’s it. This novel was a generational game change….the movie better serve it justice!
