I just don’t understand why Chris, who has tried for the past few years to distance himself from being known as an aggressive and horrible boyfriend, would take a role as the deadbeat boyfriend in the new flick ‘Think Like A Man’

I absolutely loved the film adaptation of Act Like A Lady Think Like A Man, I even read the book! When I learned that Chris Brown had a small role in the film, I was excited to see which type of boyfriend he would play. Well much to my utter horror, he played a horrible boyfriend who uses girls and can’t even remember their names after he sleeps with them. In this case it’s clear that art imitates life. 

Wouldn’t it have been fabulous if Chris played a nice guy in the flick? The movie had roles like the “mama’s boy,” “the dreamer,” the “underachiever,” but the fool? When reading the script, Chris should have said he wouldn’t be in it unless he could play a good guy role.

Why? Because now is not the time to joke about Chris and relationships. It was just a few years ago that Chris beat up his ex girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and left her unconscious in a car! No matter how much Chris wants fans to forget that and his outburst of rage like when he threw a chair into a window at GMA, things like this don’t help us forget. Chris’ character simply reminded the audience why he’s been labeled the way that he has.

If only Chris had been a fly on the wall because the entire theater erupted into laughter when he got on the screen. If he had carefully decided on the image he wanted to portray, maybe some of his once most loyal fans would come back.

I love Chris’ music, I listen to it all the time. I think Chris is a great musician and I won’t stop listening to his music. But this just showed me that he doesn’t take the public’s perception of him seriously. At the end of the day it only matters what Chris and his close camp think, but this truly was a poor choice on his part.
