'DWTS' Results: Which Team Won First Dance Duel?

Were you surprised by who got kicked off ‘Dancing with the Stars’ April 17?

The competition is starting to get stiff on Dancing with the Stars. After two great performances by Selena Gomez and Train April 17, it was time to eliminate yet another pair of dancers. Bummer!

Gavin DeGraw and Jaleel White were in the bottom two spots and were forced to dance off with their partners. You’d have to be blind, deaf and dumb not to realize Jaleel is a far superior dancer to Gavin. It wasn’t any surprise when all three judges voted Jaleel the winner — which meant Gavin packed his backs.

Week in and week out, Gavin has been one of the worst scoring stars of the season, so it was definitely his time to say goodbye.

Of course it would be Jaleel and Kim, Gavin has a great attitude and never stopped trying. The show is about the best dancers, and Jaleel and Kym were it. I don’t understand how they were the bottom two anyway, they are not being judged properly, and deserved higher scores from the judges from my observation. Jaleel and Kym really bring it, keep up the good work and you might actually win this thing.

I think Gavin should of gone on!! He is so sweet and fun to watch every week. He was the heart of this season and now he is gone. Super disappointing. And come on the guy carried Melissa off stage for Maks, he is such a gentleman! I don’t think he would of won, but he certainly should NOT have gone home this week.
